"breakfastI don't like it poor every day same thing nothing new balcony not very good I have some noisy neighbour next door, and in safari restaurant when we order something coming very late ore never came shot have better stuff, I can not say everything was bed but shouldn't be better"

Luxurious Beach Villa ‘Oasis’ in La Cala de Mijas

"Excellent communication with the host on the run up to the trip. I had organised the villa as part of golfing break for my husband and 7 of his friends. Location was excellent for access to La Cala golf (approx 15/20 minutes away). Views from the villa were lovely, looking straight out to sea with plenty of outdoor space and direct access to the beach. They enjoyed the pool and the bbq and were very comfortable during their stay. They did struggle to locate an iron as it wasn't with the ironing board. The host showed my husband where it was on check out. It would probably be helpful to keep them together to help guests out. They did see a number of ants (as mentioned in other reviews) but it is hot and possibly to be expected, (although it may be worthwhile putting some pest traps in place). Overall a lovely trip was had by all and we would recommend."

"The property was lovely and clean, could do with a little TLC toilet needs replacing other than that all good. Swimming pool was lovely and not too busy. The only thing I would say the hill working up to the apartment was too steep for husband and myself. Overhaul a very good stay."

"The villa was beautiful, exactly as described. It was extremely well equipped with everything you’d need for total self catering. The whole villa was clean and well maintained, including the outside area and pool. Communication with the host was excellent and they responded immediately with the few queries that we had whilst we were there. I will definitely return."

"No complaints! Julian was an excellent communicator - always answered any questions quickly. Perfect Villa - everything as listed. Gorgeous view to the sea, clean, huge pool, nice bedrooms and en suites for everyone - great setup. The A/C worked wonderfully - cooled the house quickly after being off all day while we were out and about. Having a washer and dryer was also a great bonus. Perfect little village to base our exploration of the Costa Del Sol. Cala had great restaurants, and a couple of handy markets a few minutes from the Villa. We even enjoyed watching the little pigs come in to town for their midnight raid of the central trash bins! After driving in from Seville, our group spent time visiting Granada, Cordoba, Gibralter, and Estepona as well as the beach at Fuengirola. My daughter lost her eyeglasses in the sea and we were able to get an exam and new glasses in one day at a cost of only 89 Euros! Our favorite restaurants in Cala were Restaurant Ole, Hansik (fabulous South Korean), La Tablita ( amazing steaks and starters!) and La Terrace with delicious Italian at great prices. Would love to return and would most definitely stay at Villa Lilli!"

"John was the perfect host; very easy to communicate with from the very start. He welcomed us at the property upon arrival at 10.30pm. The property itself was very well appointed and John went above and beyond, providing many little extras which we thought was a nice touch and have never experienced that before. . We enjoyed having breakfast on the large terrace which also housed comfortable, relaxing furniture. The apartment is set in lovely gardens with access to two pools is well positioned for all amenities. Lydl was just across a minor road and the bus stop is at the bottom of the road. The beach was about a ten walk over the footbridge where you could find lots of eateries. We really enjoyed a relaxing holiday here and would definitely recommend it."

"Really nice apartment with underground parking and lovely communal pool. It was a perfect base for our golf trip. Golf in the morning, pool in the afternoon and excellent restaurants close by for the evening. Beach is a fifteen minute stroll away and supermarkets a five minute walk. Carrefour and Aldi. Will stay here again"
