"Together with a friend we planned a 4 day visit to. Normandy, La Rose de Vents was in an ideal location. And indeed it is perfect for visiting the Normandy D Day sites and memorials. Plus being only a couple of hours from Mont St Michael great for other sites too. Hosts were amazing, welcoming and even giving us a lift to go food shopping on arrival ! "

"We were touring WW2 sites. This was in an excellent location for seeing all the "beaches" and Caen. It was clean and comfortable. Particularly compared to the hotel we stayed at in Paris.The hosts were quick to answer any questions which was nice because France is different than the USA. "

"Het appartementje was verouderd en zodoende liet ook de netheid een steekje vallen... Ik zou denken dat in een verblijf voor 6 personen ook alle accommodatie voor dit aantal zou zijn. 5 glazen en net bestek voor 6 is me toch net iets te krap. Zonde dat het zwembad reeds om 18.45u sloot. Na een daguitstapje, was het dus niet meer aan de orde om een duikje te pakken... Dit alles is echter mijn bescheiden mening en heeft weinig invloed gehad op de totaalbeleving van ons verblijf in deze streek..."

"Das Zimmer war nicht so toll. 3 KleiderbĂŒgel fĂŒr mit seinem 2. fĂŒr 8 Tage. Der Wasserkocher stank enorm, so dass wir uns nicht trauten, ihn zu benutzen. Das Sofa und das Bett mussten schon lange ersetzt werden. Aber an sich so gut wie sauber. Ich musste fĂŒr zusĂ€tzliche HandtĂŒcher argumentieren. Weil ich nur 1 Paket erhalten habe, obwohl es hieß, dass Sie ein zusĂ€tzliches Paket kaufen könnten. Wir hatten keine schlechte Zeit. Komme aber auch nicht wieder. Die Gegend und das Dorf haben einiges...
