"If you are looking for an experience, the Priory does not disappoint. The only room on the property for guests has ties to the Romans from the year 1070. The church itself is decommissioned, but continues to host concerts. Being from the United States, opportunities to be surrounded by such history do not exist. "Une nuit réservée à l'occasion du CFD, vu de l'extérieur, le lieu ne paraît vraiment pas accueillant, cela fait même un peu peur quand on vient d'arriver, l'hôte parle mal français et n'est pas tres presentable, nous ne sommes pas rassurés. Une fois quelques mots échangés et une fois rentrés dans la maison, ce n'est plus la même ambiance, l'intérieur a le charme fou d'une maison ancienne et l'hôte est très agréable. "We arrived at 6pm for Check in & even though there was a note on the door to say it was open, it was locked & no-one came to greet us. The yard was very messy & there were lots of cats everywhere. We left to find more suitable accommodation."
