The pool was excellent, there were plenty of chairs and sun loungers for everyone. The pool table/games room was a brilliant addition. We went on the VELO rail in the nearby Corgnac-sur-l'Isle which was great fun."

"Very comfortable house in a lovely spot (only slight difficulty is the spiral staircase - which could be tricky for some). Especially good if you like fishing with a beautiful lake right outside the front door. Surroundings are extremely quiet and peaceful with plenty of nice walks in the area. Host’s really nice and friendly and helpful. Would certainly go back."

The house is in a quiet rural location but close to Excideuil (we recomend the market) and Brantome for kayaking. Didier was a lovely host and came early in the morning every other day to clean the pool. Would highly recommend"

The snooker table was the subject of many early evening rivalries and we were lucky enough to be there whilst the village food fair was on, which was a bonus. And yet, there are plenty of towns, markets, swimming lakes etc within a 10-15 kilometre distance. We travelled with our three kids and had such a great time - playing games, taking little trips to nearby swimming lakes, and barbecuing into the night. "Lovely old house with some charming foibles and eccentricities. Even developed a soft spot for the robot lawn mower. Great space, 4 bathrooms (2 ensuite), well equipped kitchen (always great to have basics there - salt, oil, herbs etc), great table tennis room, big garden to kick rugby ball. Outdoor bbq plate. Terrace and view lovely. Close to airport suited our family requirement. Lots of sunny and shady spots. Some TLC needed in house - first stair step and ants/bugs in top bedroom - not...

"We had a fantastic week staying in a traditional house, renovated to a high standard and equipped with all mod cons. Easy access by car to Limoges. This is a lovely part of France for touring and taking in the gorgeous countryside."
