"We had our wedding venue there. The staff especially Julie were all excellent. Nothing was a problem and they were accomidating with all our requests. "

"Lovely hotel on the edge of the town right by the river was a festival going on when we were staying lovely little town to walk around food was fantastic at the floating restaurant opposite the hotel"

"Good base near the centre of Perigueux. Welcoming staff and great for a stop over. The breakfast selection was however basic and pricey."

"Brief overnight stay going from north to south of france. The private parking was nice, the pool was nice (for the kids, I didn't go down), the extra seating looked nice, but I didn't utilize it. The rooms, while weren't 5 star, were perfectly nice and clean. The only reason i gave it 4 stars for cleanliness was the carpet on the stairs. That should def be replaced. The owners were lovely and helpful. And the town turned out to be great as well."

"This hotel is fantastic, the setting is beautiful with the mill turning and the river the setting is sublime. The food was excellent we had the fixed menu which was excellent valu If you want something special book this hotel"

"Returned to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary just for one night. Although rooms are quite basic in decoration, the chateau is incredible and the dinner was exceptional. We loved it and will definitely return again. "
