Grand Hotel in Porto Cervo

Grand Hotel in Porto Cervo

8/10 Good
"Very nice property with multiple places to relax with cabanas, pools, swings, bar and access to the beach. The biggest issue is the lack of food options, especially for vegetarians. They have set menu for lunch and dinner with 2 non-vegetarian and 1 vegetarian options. Absolutely nothing worth eating in the vegetarian option either for lunch or dinner. Also, driving to few restaurants nearby is a pain because of lack of parking everywhere. Better bring food with you if staying in the property if staying for a day. If staying longer, it is a real issue. Limited parking in the property could be an issue when coming in high season."

Frequently asked questions

What can a history enthusiast expect from a trip to La Conia?
The historical places in La Conia are probably a big part of your travel plans. Why not absorb the local color with a visit to the restaurants?
How many historically relevant hotels are located in La Conia?
La Conia is home to 64 lodging options bookable on Expedia but not many designated as historic hotels.
What are the must-see historical places and other sights in La Conia?
A favorite place to visit is Spiaggia di Laconia. Additionally, you'll find Port of Olbia in the area.
What is a historic hotel like in La Conia?
Historic hotels give guests the chance to stay in a building officially recognized with a historic designation. Historic hotels throughout the world can be castles, palaces or even pubs or old police stations. These types of hotels in La Conia often retain original qualities such as period features or traditional architecture within the guestrooms or public spaces.
What is the difference between a historic hotel and a heritage hotel?
The two are similar. The term "historic hotel" is more common in the U.S., while "heritage hotel" is often used in Asia and Europe. Historic hotels tend to emphasize the building and architecture itself. A heritage hotel draws meaning mainly from the cultural value that the place has and how it shaped the community.
Do historic hotels in La Conia have modern facilities?
Yes. Every effort is made to preserve treasured traditions and historic facades, but hotel interiors are fitted with modern conveniences and safety features. Guests should expect the popular amenities you'd get from a hotel such as private rooms with updated bathroom facilities, heating and air conditioning, and free and fast Internet. In La Conia, booking a historic hotel doesn't mean you will stay in a place that's uncomfortable for guests or simply rundown.
