"I’m in two minds about my stay. Yes it was short (3 nights) but it didn’t quite seem value for money given the options in Corralejo. Online check-in didn’t work, but once I found where reception was check-in with Erica was nice and easy. The living space was nice and clean, even if the bottom of the work top kept falling over. The main bedroom was nice and spacious, the bunk bed room was not, and the bathroom was OK. Upstairs didn’t really have the vibe of the living space, the anti-slip in the bottom of the bath was a bit grim, and there were lots of hairs from previous guests around the bathroom. The complex itself looks nice. The pool was great but not one to do much swimming in being square. The gym looked good and had decent equipment but it was sad to realise you couldn’t use the studio unless you were paying for classes, which were somewhat overpriced based on others available in the town. Shocked I find massages and Osteo sessions were more expensive than in the UK. All in all, a mixed bag"

"I had originally mistakenly booked a twin room and before the holiday, I emailed the hotel to request a change to a double bed room. Upon arrival, during check in, we were “upgraded” to a fantastic, ground floor apartment facing the sea. Great shower, kitchen and the bed could have fitted 4 people! Being on the forefront of the headland, we did feel the wind more but on the days when the sun came out, it was all worth it. Pool bar staff were great and the food very reasonable priced. Good job!"

"I booked this villa for 2 weeks thinking it was good value for a family holiday.The description said it was on Origo Mare resort & had a 5 star hotel there, A large water theme park onsite , spa, tennis courts, restaurants,bars, entertainment , bicycles hired onsite , gym, golf, crazy golf , supermarket - all on site at this remote resort. On arrival, I discovered there was no security at the gate, the resort was like an overgrown & rundown estate with no facilities at all.The holiday company who ran the resort had pulled out in November & everything was closed down.Most of the villas were empty, deserted & had an air of neglect & desolation.Worse was to come. The front garden was overgrown with weeds , broken, cat stained & faded plastic furniture greeted you, as well as all the feral cats living there.On entering the villa, the smell of cat urine was overpowering, as well as the musty & mouldy smell of a home that was dirty, dusty , had dirty & used bedding on its double bed .The bathroom grill on the floor of the shower was covered in mould & rust . The floor was covered in human hair, debris from the garden , dust & more. The dishwasher was half full with dirty mouldy dishes. On removal of mattress protector I discovered a urine stained mattress, mould on the seams of the stitching & stains all along the seams that looked like evidence of bedbugs. We could not find accomadation until 3 days later & checked out. I have complained to VRBO with photographic evid"

"The villa is in a lovely peaceful location and is spacious and comfortable. The accommodation is rather unusual with studios, most with several beds and some containing more than one bedroom/ fridges and cooking facilities, arranged around a courtyard. There is a large and well equipped kitchen and large living room. The villa is showing some signs of wear and tear but we had an enjoyable holiday. "

"We loved the location. Walking from the house, either into the village or out into the countryside was great.The accommodation was perfect. Well equipped, very clean and comfortable. It was an extremely relaxing holiday. We would highly recommend and would return too."
