- Cozy fireplace for chilly nights, large deck out back with charcoal grill with dark sky certification for summer star gazing and even a porch swing out front overlooking the Kickapoo River for birding, all less than a mile from La Farge’s boat landing. Spend the day paddling down the river, or biking the Driftless, shopping local Amish bakeries & greenhouses, horseback riding at nearby Wildcat State Park or take in a day of superb fly fishing 10 minutes away......while enjoying country living in our charming farmhouse. Three outdoor pools driving distance away- one with a water park!
Walking distance to Organic Valley retail shop, Ewetopia woolen mill, Saturday farmers' market and the Kickapoo Valley Reserve, a 8000 acre paradise for hiking, biking, paddling, horseback riding, XC skiing and camping. Head north a few miles to Rockton bar miles and rent a kayak or tubing for you and the kids. Let your friends camp and you can meet them on the trail tomorrow....
