"I stay at Hilton hotels almost every time across the US and I don’t recall ever leaving a bad review. Check in staff not helpful at all. Room was newly renovated and clean, but the door lock didn’t work. Had to swipe the card 6 or 7 times for it to open every time. There are 2 small lights in the room. Very dark. AC was noisy and although the fixtures were new, all the sockets and switches were loose. New covers over old. When you have a shower - there is no door and there lip is only about...

"Great proximity to Poas Volcano! Beautiful view and cozy room. The bathtub did not get very hot, but probably just due to its large size. The property is very well-maintained and breakfast was delicious! Also helpful and friendly staff (including Coco, the large white fluffy dog). I wish we stayed longer!"

"The resort was beautiful! I highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit Costa Rica. The amenities were spectacular! Located at an excellent location, a short drive to San Jose and in a lovely quiet town. Nearby restaurants have amazing food. The pool was magnificent, the staff were friendly and hospitable. Can’t wait to visit again and if I do I will definitely be staying there again!"
