"We loved the hotel’s position right on the beach. The staff were very friendly. But could be better with just a few tweaks, like some chairs need cushions on. Less time waiting for orders to be taken and food did take a while sometimes. Rooms were good but being an older couple the stairs were an issue for us as there is no lift. We would stay again if we come back here to see our son as it was a nice break to recuperate after a long flight."

"A lovely, small guest house, with great hosts and staff and easy access to the beach. There is one good restaurant, which is open 6 days of the week, and other dining options are at a Fried chicken take away and a burger shop/cafe. "

"1st night no hot water. Geyser didn’t work. Aircons don’t work. Cockroaches in room. No soaps, shampoo, etc. They don’t accept cards and only told me this when I wanted to settle my bill the night prior to check out. The owner insisted on me walking almost 2km to go withdraw cash at 9pm. Which was a major inconvenience. I will never stay there again. NEVER!!!"

It was away from the traffic and about 10 minutes away from the grocery store, restaurants and the beach. We enjoyed Kris' company. He had our breakfast ready rain or shine. "Chez Jacques is a very relaxed, cozy place in a local neighbourhood away from the all-inclusive hotels. The surfspots of Tamarin Bay are at your doorstep. Manager Iwan is a genuine friendly guy and very helpful in giving advice about things to do, advice on where to surf, sorting out transport at affordable prices, etc, etc. Enjoyed my stay and without a doubt, would stay there again."

"Chambre petite, ne correspondant pas avec les photos sur le site, mauvaises odeurs quand on rentre dans la chambre, odeurs de canalisations de WC dans la salle de douche ; avons changé 3 fois de chambre durant notre séjour (5 nuits), fuites d'eau dans la 2ème chambre et problème d'évacuation d'eau dans la 3ème ! Il était vraiment temps que nous partions ! Des travaux urgents de rénovation nous semblent plus que nécessaire pour coller au standing et à l'accueil de cet endroit ! "

When we arrived, we were greeted outside the property by approximately 20 different neighborhood dogs that not only barked loudly then, but continued throughout the entire night. The bed was filthy. "On our arrival date, the owner told us that they have misread our arrival date and thought we would arrive one day later, the property was over booked, so they led us to the next property, Sunset Villa, that property Sunset Villa was a downgrade from Blue Lagoon Villa which we have originally booked on. After half an hour lying on the big bed, I had 9 bug bites all over my body, on my arms, my legs and my back, could not sleep, so I had to switch to the smaller bed. We would not recommend this...

"A well equipped apartment of good size. Hassle free arrival and departure. Two bedrooms each en-suite with aircon and an open plan lounge / kitchen with wrap around veranda. It felt very private. The beach close by appears to be mud so no swimming there but beautiful beaches at Le Morne."
