"We can fully recommend Charnay Plaisance! The main house is beautiful (some renovation work is ongoing but is unobtrusive); our room was very comfortable; breakfast was very good; the swimming pool was fantastic and the welcome we received (from reception staff and from the owner and his wife) was very warm and friendly. We will return!"

"Hôte accueillant mais le logement est décevant. Logement ou le ménage n’avait pas été fait avant notre arrivé. Sol collant, draps avec miettes, frigo pas nettoyer, miroir et murs de douches avec traces noires, toilettes sales et la poubelle n’avait pas été vidée avant notre arrivée. Très peu informés sur la gestion de leur auberge. Pas de réponses à nos questions ni d’échange à travers la plateforme Hotel.com (obligé de les appeler). "Toujours un vrai bonheur de passer la nuit dans la grange de Léonie ! Un acceuil toujours chaleureux, un acces au jaccuzi été comme hiver, une chambre cocooning et si bien décorée sans oublier le petit dejeuner généreux by Mathilde :) Des restau a proximité... bref tout y est ! Foncez !"

"Petit étape de 2 nuitées sur la route des vacances, belle découverte. Un lieu calme dans un écrin de verdure. Un style « indus » très sympa pour la chambre. Non loin d’Aubigny sur Nère où un beau patrimoine est à découvrir. Merci au propriétaire des lieux de son accueil et pour ses petits déjeuners complets. "

2/10 Terrible

"We wrote to the hotel that we should arrive after 21:00....no response or check-in arrangements were sent to us. We got there at 22:30 and the self check in machine was down....so no help. Eventually some guy / staff member appeared from nowhere.... First he said our booking is not real.... despite giving him my printed reservation and booking number.... despite being paid already! Then we managed to get a room. The guy refused to validate our room for wifi and said to use the visitor option instead. When we did that, the option required a French mobile phone number.... so we had no wifi. Incredible. The room had a bathroom door with no handles, etc, etc....never again here.... "
