Holiday Inn Express & Suites Chanute by IHG

10/10 Excellent

"I have a son that goes to school in Chanute so it’s not too many hotel options but this Holiday Inn is relatively new but it’s been well maintained and the staff is always nice and helpful. The rooms are always clean and the beds are comfy."

Quiet Country Ranch/Hunters Welcome/Peaceful ranch home with plenty of room

10/10 Excellent

"Had a wonderful stay in this perfectly kept and impeccably clean ranch home that sits on a well-kept peaceful piece of country property that brings you back to simpler times, but with modern conveniences. Loved it!"

Erie Farmhouse w/ Fire Pit + Grill: Pets Welcome!

10/10 Excellent

"Very tranquil and relaxing farm house where our family could gather both inside or outside. The kitchen was exceptionally stocked, very user friendly. Our host provided snacks, coffee and was always available for any questions. She even offered several suggestions. While we were there, the power company sent a notice to the host about a planned power outage from 12a-2a. She was very quick to let us know about that, and asked if there was anything we might need. Plenty of games for our gatherings made this a very enjoyable trip. We had family meet from Ohio, Texas, Missouri, and Kansas. This was exactly what we hoped we would find."

8/10 Good

"Overall, a great value to stay in downtown Chanute, Kansas. The host had great communication and all the amenities were excellent. My only challenge with the property was it was in dire need of upkeep could’ve been just a little bit. The building is very old and there were many cracks down multiple walls, which is no fault of the owners. In terms of cleanliness, I had a lot of bugs I had to kill the first night, including ladybugs and grasshopper, which I thought was strange. It was a second building with bugs inside. The fan was extremely dusty, including the ceiling fans and massive stains on the carpets throughout the whole unit. Those are small details, but cleanliness is my number one most important thing when staying in a place and it could’ve been a little bit better. I would still recommend staying here as long as those couple small items were addressed and you don’t mind structural problems of an old building. Otherwise, good place to stay."
