Breakfast selection was great and pianist entertainment during breakfast is also great. Pool & pool area well maintained. Not too busy, plenty of beds and pool snack bar also nice. Listing suggested there was no washing machine but there was one in the apartment. Apartment itself was a great size if a little dated; however, you get what you pay for and this was great value for money in my opinion."

"We have returned to the Abama to celebrate our anniversary. We have had a wonderful stay and have received nothing but exceptional service in all departments. A special mention to Fran and Isabelle who recovered my husband’s luggage with his medication as the wrong case was off loaded. Sorted out clothes for him and collected the case on our behalf from the airport. On our arrival cava and a sumptuous cake awaited us in our room. We had a lovely meal at the El Mirador on our anniversary with a personalised desert . I can’t thank the staff enough for a very memorable evening. We stayed in the adults only retreat which I can highly recommend,peaceful attentive pool staff who repositioned the parasol throughout the day and served drinks. The retreat facilities were lovely as were all the staff. Thank you to Iria for her kindness on our last day. Breakfast staff Tamara, Fabian, Adrienne, Elizabeth, Laura thank you for your cheery welcome and for knowing our names from the moment of our arrival. A visit you won’t forget and I am looking forward to our next stay. Excellent cocktails."

"Superb hotel, great location for ourselves, 3rd time visiting and we love this hotel. Room was lovely and clean, we chose to overlook the pool area. Breakfast is outstanding, probably the best you can get. Staff and housekeeping are are great, super professional. I’d highly highly recommend this hotel, we couldn’t fault it."
