The rooms look nothing like the photos, and I’m sure all the reviews here are fake. However, the staff were kind and helpful. We left early because the bed felt like a rock. This motel is only good as a last resort if you can’t find anything else.

I stayed at Heritage while I closed on my new house. I was scared, anxious and worried about my life and internet connection for work. I am alive. Internet connection was great. As for the room 309 overlooked the pool and I could hear children playing and I enjoyed that. The room is outdated, old furniture, bathtub and fixtures. The refrigerator worked. The carpet is disgustingly dirty old and Heritage should be embarrassed! The place needs a renovation ASAP! I booked through Expedia. Staff was warm and professional. I noticed a Security Guard walking the property at night ( I think he was Security Guard) Overall, my stay was fine. I DONT recommend.

The beds were comfortable. Sheets were clean. The staff were helpful. I have to admit, I have never stayed in a hotel where the main office does not open until 3:00 PM check in. Even though they were sold out the facility is older and needs some additional care. Maybe clean the furniture that looks very used. Air conditioning worked and parking was ample. We only stayed one night and it served its purpose.

Staff was accommodating and able to change room upon request. Bathroom door had no lock. Sink had dirty, unwashable stains. The A/C blew cool to cold air but kept the room warm all night. Other than that everything else was ok.

Overall is ok. However, the room has some unpleasant smells. The clean towels have some hair. The table and carpet worn out in the room. We were on the first floor. We were able to hear footsteps on the second floor around 11 pm over and over. The owner can reduce some noise. Employees are nice and helpful when I checked in and out.

All in all, it wasn't a bad stay. Getting into the hotel was a little challenging because of the traffic pattern, but I caught on quickly. The AC in the room didn't work. The bed was a little softer than I like but it was plenty comfortable. The water pressure was very good. The water temperature was adequate. Took a little bit for hot water, but still good. The toiletries were very nice. Worked well and smelled great. The best part of the hotel was the staff! They were absolutely exceptional. Would stay again.

4/10 Poor

Disliked: Cleanliness
I booked this hotel because it's close to SDSU and I was visiting my daughter for family weekend. I was looking forward to staying the night with her in my room. We went to the hotel together and this is what we saw: a man who's face looked like he just got out of a serious fight with someone, another man on an electric bike with tattoos covering his face, a family of 5 that looked like they had been living in their car but were trying to book a room for the night. The hotel was situated oddly at a freeway exit. We felt very out of place, uncomfortable and not safe. The property looked like it had not been updated for over 20 years. Check in was not a problem, a nice man took my credit card, charged me, and gave me the key to my room. When we entered the room, it looked like a scene from an old movie where people would get murdered. It smelled badly, it was dark, all brown everywhere, and very tiny. We were exhausted and tried to nap, but the mattress, blanket, and pillow were stiff and uncomfortable. We heard a child screaming outside for about 30 minutes non-stop. There is a pool, if you are interested. At this point, we left. I stayed in her on-campus housing with her 4 other roommates and ate the cost of this "hotel" room. I do not recommend staying here, but to be fair, I didn't actual stay the night.

4/10 Poor

Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities
Room is very old and rundown. Room was clean but had a bad odor, old and torn carpet. Maid service was pleasant, exchanged towels only since room wasn’t cleaned yet when we had left for 4-5 hours. Poor lighting and no electric outlets for phones except in the sink area. No microwave or coffee except at the office. Swimming pool very small for number of guests. Parking was ok but very tight spaces. Very overpriced compared to previous bookings in the area.
