Le Domaine du Mas de Pierre

"Few things I would like to say: - the room was small, epic small. - the breakfast was poor and the area was full of mosquitoes and wasps. The same during dinner. - the entire property is full of dead plants, some of the areas smell really bad because of this. The property is not well maintained, not even decently maintained. - our room was situated near the entrance and it smelled like trash outside, all the time. - no mosquito nests on the balcony door. - cola was served in a glass, not in a bottle ( in the adult pool area) - even when asking for it, all of the times. - the adult pool was locked behind 2 garden doors, you need a separate access card from the reception. - the mail pool is closed before 10 AM and is crowded and fool of families with small children. - even after 10 AM, when you want to enter the pool area, all the garden doors are closed, it almost seems like you are intruding on the employees. - no towels provided in the pool areas, you had to bring the towels from inside the room. - turndown service was/is a joke, they only arrange the pillows - without even changing them once, in 5 days. I am saying this because my pillow was dirty since the start and it remained dirty after I left. - in the main bar area, the service is slow and very slow. They practically live in a separate universe. However, the hotel is situated in perfect surroundings, the area is full of nature and beautiful. Some of the people from the front desk are good people, 7.5 / 10."

"Great stay near mountains and SPA. The hotel staff are amazing: Olena and her colleague from reception and the cleaning man that was adorable. The cleaning lady was very unfriendly, not giving us any choice regarding cleaning time and forcing herself in our room while we still were in PJ . The room cleaning is only once a week and she stayed less than 10 minutes, not even vacuuming of sweeping the floor - just changed our towels...I also met her another day at the reception and no hello, no sorry, she just interrupted us to get a paper from the receptionist- totally unacceptable behaviour for me. The rooms are great : clean, spacious, lots of equipment like fridge, safe, mini kitchenette...The proximity to the SPA is a real plus and all the rooms have fantastic views (this was our 5th stay in 3 years, this time we stayed 10 days). The hotel looks very safe with access codes and it is very quiet. We'll be back and I hope I won't see that cleaning lady again."

"We returned to Hotel Les Bastides for another great stay, and weren’t disappointed! Friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable rooms … the bathrooms are a little dated but they’re perfectly functional. Our room also had a private outdoor seating area. A small morning buffet spread is available if you pre-book your breakfast. The outdoor pool is popular, and there is ample parking - you’ll need a car to explore surrounding towns and villages. Great stay, as always."

"Beautiful old property within the walls of a beautiful old town. Comfy beds robes free cold drinks and fresh sweets left in the room. I felt spoiled."

"Above average, nothing special. Comfy beds for excellent sleep. Air conditioning is great. Parking can get a bit tricky. Lift doesn't work (atleast when I stayed there). Staff was friendly. Perfect for my needs."
Hôtel La Lubiane

"This is a very sweet smaller simple hotel with a lot of charm and is run by the sweetest family of all ages They are very kind and the main person who works here speaks English and is extremely helpful. This is a very affordable place in a nicer area outside of Nice with some pretty views. It’s more ideal for someone who has a car or can take rides or the bus into Nice to see the sights there because Vence is further away."
