"What a delightful little find this was! The property owner is absolutely delightful and so very helpful. The room is very spacious and the surrounding areas are lovely. The actual town of Cilaos is so quaint. Really loved it. The actual hotel is quiet, safe, and clean and very centrally located. The parking is very easy and secure as the gate locks at night. Overall, really great place to spend a night or several. Cilaos is a stunning place!"

"Séjour d’une semaine chez Anita et Sylvain. Deux hôtes très accueillants et de bons conseils. Merci+++ à eux. Malgré la pluie un peu persistante, nous avons quand même pu profiter de la piscine et du jacuzzi 🙂 L’emplacement sur les hauteurs de Saint Pierre est parfait pour visiter le sud et accéder au cirque de Cilaos entre autre. "Clément was very welcoming. The room was very simple but certainly adequate with all the basics, though the lighting could be improved. The evening meals were well-prepared and copious. The B&B is quiet and very well-located for visiting the Piton de la Fournaise volcano, which must be seen during any visit to La Réunion. I did feel that the health rules required by the pandemic were not adequately followed, and felt uncomfortable about that point. "

"Grandpa Pinpin was is the sweetest man I ever met. He runs the place and he keeps trying to communicate with you even if you don’t understand French. Coming from America, I truly appreciated the local experience, and his son was the first person that I actually was able to speak to in the outback of the Territory. Staying in this beautiful home in the fields of sugarcane to get a true experience. Also visit leader price market at the bottom of the street! "

"This hotel is amazing. Centrally located and looks a lot better than the photos. Staff is very nice and since we don’t speak French, it was nice that they could converse in English with us. The rooms were very spacious and they added some nice touches. The only thing I would add is a couple more vegetarian/vegan options on the menu in case guests don’t feel like venturing out for the evening. This is a Reunion Island issue, but we expect hotels to have more of a wider menu. Overall, an excellent choice for a hotel! Reasonably priced, clean, and the location can’t be beat! "
