"We visited St Helaire as a first family car trip to France. The travel days were a little stressful but ran so smoothly thanks to French roads being so much easier to drive along than British roads. The apartment was perfect, the views stunning especially at sunset. The sea breeze was cool and refreshing.we don't mind walking but thought that we were a little too far from things to want to walk everywhere. This is the only thing we could find that wasn't perfect and does not mean you can't walk...

"The apartment was warm, cosy and well equipped and located close to the river in a quiet village a few kilometres from the city of Angers. The cycling path alongside the river where on a cold, bright winter's morning we saw very little other than a solitary heron from time to time provides an idyllic route into Angers.
