"I have stayed at this friendly owner run hotel 3 times now.It is well situated only 2 minutes from the quay of the old port and close to all of the main attractions of La Rochelle also convenient to call back for a rest during a sight seeing day.The hotel has been upgraded since my last visit with good quality modern decor and a new bar and breakfast area that I chose not to use.Very clean and comfortable and plenty of hot water. No faults. Recomend."

"We had a lovely 5 day stay in quaint Il de Re. The room was lovely. The pool perfect temperature and the staff couldnât be nicer. Very accessible to restaurants and shops and the spa is a nice reprieve after biking all day. Highly recommend this little oasis."
