"Vieux-Viel ist ein kleiner und sehr ruhiger Ort. Für uns war es als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Region ideal (Mont St. Michel, Avranche, St. Malo, Cancale, etc...). "Very nice old stone house in a remote typical landscape. Nevertheless everything can be reached easily with a car."

The listing said that the owners spoke English as well as French (as my French is very limited). Mde. Haman appeared not to speak any English which made communication very difficult when checking in. 2. We were asked to let Mde. Haman know what time we would be arriving. "We decided to stay on the island and expected the rooms at the hotels to be small and old. Our room wasn’t huge but it was big enough and the bathroom was plenty large with a bath and separate shower. The staff was lovely and helpful and the restaurant was charming and delicious. Great experience."
