"This is a great B&B, really well appointed old french farmhouse. We stayed in the smaller room which had a great shower, was quiet and warm. My only small issue is that I would have preferred a bigger bed.
Breakfast was great and had a lot of choices.
The lady who runs the place looked after us and was very welcoming. "

"This is not a family friendly place. While traveling with my kids, we arrived exhausted and were welcomed by the property owners who immediately requested everyone to take off their shoes at the entrance of the hotel (they were scared our kids would dirty their carpeted floors) . They then said the room we reserved was all white and that the kids would have to be extremely careful. We were uncomfortable the whole time as the openers basically followed us everywhere (except when we got into our...

"IT DOESN'T EXIST! Drove at night confused and tired for hours looking for this place in pitch dark until waking up neighbors at the address to be told it closed years ago."

"We stayed at HĂŽtel Parc du Landreau after a long day at Puy de Fou. It was easy to check in and since it was not a busy day we felt like we had a private resort! The hot tub was terrific with extra clean shower & changing rooms. It was a nice touch to have tea available next to the tub too. It was a little too cold and windy to use the pool that day but it was also very clean. It was very nice to have the fridge in our room since we stopped for wine and cheese in town. The bed was very comfortable and we slept in which was needed after a long day of walking. Parking was easy which was also a relief. Great stay!"
"The breakfast ladies were superb. Lovely friendly and very approachable.
The room was big enough, comfy bed but the bathroom was a little tired. Could do with a lick of paint. "
"We filled the chateau with 26 people, aged from 2 to 80, and it never felt overcrowded. Lots of lovely old furniture, but new good quality bedlinen and towels. Very clean. We mostly cooked for ourselves, and the kitchen was well-equipped for such numbers. Outside, there's a new tennis court by the pool, both are great. (The free-standing pool in the main photo has been replaced by a much better one, and the badminton/volleyball court is no longer there). The outside dining furniture has also been upgraded from the white plastic in the photos and was very nice. It was perfect for Puy du Fou but also in a lovely area to explore - though we mostly stayed at home to enjoy the facilities. One thing to note - the pool and tennis are 'communal' which means you may be sharing them with another large party in the other half of the chateau. With a bit of polite communication that was not a problem, especially with so much fine weather."
