There are no stores or pharmacies near and the drive to the chalet is treacherous with switchbacks. The restaurant Griselda? had wonderful owners and staff and is 5 minutes by car. "Nice and welcoming house, kind and proactive owner. Unluckily we found this house in a hurry as a concequence of the cancellation of the previoulsy booked one in La Salle. The insurance I paid for the first house booked was not refunded yet."

The location is convenient to many ski areas, and for us, many famous bicycle routes in the summer. It is close to a fairly busy road, so if that is a big turn off for you I would look else where.
