"The on-site hot springs were fantastic. The concierge service helped us find a great tour for our last day, and they were very accommodating in allowing us a late checkout to work with our flight plans. The views from the balcony were excellent, and the room was incredibly spacious. Dining options were good, though pricy. Try to stop at a grocery store before settling into the property - some cheaper snacks and breakfast items would have been a good buy for us."

"The stay is about a 30 minute drive from LaFortuna, it is very remarkable with great views of volcano and just walking around, with the most friendly and helpful staff. They make planning excursions and transportation from the resort very easy, the restaurant bar and pool are fantastic. Staff made the whole trip even better, all friendly and helpful. 10/10 would recommend a stay"

"Tabacón is an incredible resort! The springs is much larger than you would expect, with many beautiful parts to find privacy and relaxation. The drinks are incredible and views are even better. We indulged in a couples volcanic mud massage- and it was the best massage ever! The spa is beautiful, peaceful and worth it! One thing to consider is that it is a 20minute ride to town, so you are pretty much committed to eating at the resort- which is not cheap. Each drink is $15 and meals are $20 ....

"Beautiful property, with some wonderful hot springs. Be sure to check them out along the river not only the manmade pools. Rooms were nice but ours was a bit dated and loud as we were close to the pools and restraunt. Food in the restraunt wasnt the best but was cheap. Great restraunts a few minutes down the road worth driving too. "

We had an unfortunate event on our first night with Housekeeping, and they tried to compensate us as much as possible, kindness and attention was our favorite reaction from all their personnel, from cart drivers, restaurants, SPAs, and the stars were the reception team. "This property was amazing, literally one of the most beautiful properties that I have ever stayed at! The staff were so accomodating, especially given a reservation error . They had us check in, stated they would handle the problem with Expedia, and told us the most important thing is that we have a good time. AND THEY LIVED UP TO IT! I couldn't believe there wasn't 100 extra charges and excuses etc--such incredible service! Our family of (6) kept busy on the hiking trails, at the beautiful...
