"There were 12 of us in total for our stay, adults and young children. Emeline managed to find 3 cots, highchairs/booster seats and baby baths for us which really helped with our young children. We had a lovely time at the house Frederick and Emeline were very friendly and helpful, they live on site but they are not intrusive. Although our group was split over 2 different houses the outside table was large enough for us all to eat together. The best thing was the pool area which was fantastic...

"We have stayed at this property twice, lovely, clean,modern and a great host. The house is attached to the owners home which is surrounded by a lovely large garden. There is a double bed upstairs which is a mezzanine. Downstairs has everything you need plus a double sofa bed. We were there for 3 wks and loved being there. Close to Talmont and short drive to beach. "

"The gite is incredibly photogenic, in a quiet corner of the countryside, about 15 mins drive from the beach. The inaccuracy of the listing was our main issue - there is no washer or dryer, as listed, and the host (whilst lovely) did want to charge us extra for the towels and bedding (listed as included). And a €400 deposit. At the end of a two week long road trip, we had specifically booked because the washer and drier. The gite also lacked anywhere to hang clothes (a three drawer unit was it...

Propriétaire agréable, cependant la propreté du logement n'était pas optimale et la piscine était vraiment froide alors que c'était la raison principale de notre réservation, mais nous nous y sommes baignés au début seulement et pour la suite nous sommes allés à la plage car l'océan nous semblait moins froid. Dommage. Sinon on a bien profité du court de tennis en famille, et l'environnement est très calme. "

"The property is well fitted out and has everything one needs for a trouble free and relaxing holiday. I surrounded by farms and hence is peaceful and very quiet at night. Getting bread for breakfast did involve using my car to cover the 2 miles or so to the village. Jard sur Mar is only about 10 miles away and is a lovely seaside town with a fine harbour and is well worth a visit, as are the other towns and villages in the region. I will definitely consider returning in the future."
