"Villa Rene is very spacious and has everything you need for a very relaxing stay. The heated pool was lovely and the opening and closing of the cover was very simple. We were greeted by Geoff who showed us everything and explained how to use the more complicated items including the TV which you can get all the UK channels. The Gas barbecue was brilliant and the choice in the supermarkets for fresh meat, vegetables and fish were amazing. The Villa was extremely quiet and secure and the location...

"The property and pool were larger than I was expecting. Handy location with a bakery and Lidl 10 minutes walk away. We caught the bus just across the road to the lake and enjoyed the water park and inflatables there. Great to be able to walk to the castle. Susan was very kind and helpful."

"House was just right to accommodate a boisterous group of 14. We would suggest the following : Swimming pool steps or rail to aid easier entry into the water. More seating /sofas outside by steps to pool Kitchen could benefit from more chopping boards! Some of the chairs in the dining room were a bit wobbly. "What a wonderful holiday at this amazing Villa. Firstly, a big thank you to the owners who were amazing and answered all our queries and were very fair minded when checking out. This really is a luxury apartment and everything was as stated. The pool is excellent as well as the hot tub. The are lots of eating areas and plenty of room to sunbath on the decking. "The only negatives I have for this property are that the hot water went away very quickly, there was no stopper for the bathtub, and the automatic lights were hard to turn on in the morning out in the hallway. It’s walkable distance to cite de carcassonne, but it is on the far end of town, pretty far away from the train station. It took me about 45 minutes in the rain. "

"An absolute gem. The Villa is very well appointed with custom finishes and furniture made by the hosts (their profession). It’s private, safe and a stone’s throw from the market for easy food shopping and all the necessities provided for home cooking. We stayed a week and did day trips in all directions.
