This is a wonderful place. The staff are amazing, the view gorgeous and snorkelling on the reef is a fantastic experience. Comfortable, immaculate rooms just meters from the sea. Good food. And again the amazing staff. Run out of superlatives now!

Great snorkeling and impeccable service

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was nice and clean, the food was really good and the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. The snorkeling just off the beach was superb, we got to see turtles, sharks, lots of fish and colorful corals. We also went on a few boat trips with aqura dive, the diving center, which were great too! Would love to come back someday.

Superbe bungalow et très bon snorkeling

Un superbe bungalow individuel face à la mer et au calme. Le snorkeling est magnifique et l'équipe est attentionnée. Un petit regret, il manque une fontaine à eau à disposition au restaurant et dans les chambres bouilloire avec café et thé. Autrement c'est parfait, nous y retournerons avec plaisir.

Il luogo è incantevole con la barriera corallina raggiungibile in due pinnate dalla spiaggia o direttamente dal pontile. Un paradiso per amanti dello snorkelling. Maschere e pinne messe gratuitamente a disposizione dal dive center, come anche canoe e standup paddle. I bungalow direttamente sulla spiaggia sono molto belli, la spiaggia anche. Però per il prezzo notevole non mi aspettavo di avere ripetute visite in bagno da parte di un ratto di notevoli dimensioni :-( Anche dopo aver avvisato il manager nulla è cambiato, né ci è stato offerto uno sconto o anche solo un drink...

We would definitely go back

We went during the rainy season where a lot of tours for all of Labuan Bajo were cancelled due to weather conditions. In saying that, we were able to enjoy being on the resort. The house reef is incredible for snorkeling. We saw turtles, reef sharks, a Ray, many lion fish and a whole tonne of reef fish and coral. What made the trip even better were the staff who worked there. Super friendly, thoughtful and caring. We would both definitely go back after such a lovely stay there.

Beware if you book with this property some of the units have a shared wall with an additional shared door between the units. With a shared door that is only a few centimeters thick......There was a group next to me he came back from the bar drunk and made a lot of noise. In my opinion the unit was designated to be shared, It is not meant for having two different group that aren’t related. I went to bed early so that I can catch up on my sleep after a long trip. I was woken up at 10 PM and was unable to go back to sleep until 1 AM. Sucked!! The guests in the unit next to me were also very dissatisfied with the stay because they couldn’t relax in their own space because of the shared wall The resort was empty it would seem they will just upgrade one of us so we don’t have a shared wall but they did not. They either need better soundproofing which is going to be a lot of work based on the fact the walls themselves are very thin and when the other people in the unit next you walk on the floor the entire building is influenced. The property seemed okay, and the staff was nice, however I will never go back to this property because I didn’t get any sleep. Only about five units total occupied on the property at the time of my stay so you would think they would have separated guests out of common courtesy but they didn’t. I suggested they change their policy, but they defended their policy saying they were not going to change it.

We chose this resort to get away from the hostel/backpacker vibe of Labuan Bajo, while still doing some diving. Sudamala has a great dive shop, they organized 5 dives, we enjoyed ourselves a lot. Great attention to safety and guest comfort. Beach and house reef are beautiful.

一切都很驚艷

在度假村裡每天都有員工親切問候、笑容和用心的服務，度假村前面的浮潛範圍真的很美，如果夠幸運還能看到小鯊魚和海龜。食物也很驚豔，每道料理的醬汁都很特別。親子、蜜月都很適合的環境。提醒來的時候注意度假村提供的免費船班時間，不然是要額外付費。島上也有行程可以預訂，雖價錢不像本島上經濟，但服務品質和專屬小團旅遊的感覺很好！

Hvis ønsket er en ferie, hvor du er isoleret på en ø med fantastisk natur, venlige mennesker, meget lidt turisme, ringe internet- og telefonforbindelse og medium kvalitet og udvalg af mad, så er Sudamala et godt bud. Der er store plusser ved dette sted, men også et par forhold, der kan forøge glæden ved opholdet for andre. Transport til udflugter og andre øer er relativt pebret i pris, men det kan anbefales, da området er rigt på naturoplevelser foruden den klassiske visit hos Komodovaranerne.

Most amazing island & hotel

Seraya Island has become our favourite place thanks to Sudamala resort! It really is the best place in the world we’ve been so far, a boat trip away from Komodo National Park where we got to see the Komodos, the hotel has its own protected reef and has banned plastic from the island making it the most environmentally friendly place we stayed in Indonesia. We got engaged during our stay here and the staff made the experience magical for us. They helped my boyfriend arrange a surprise treasure hunt with clues etc buried in the sand and the staff all in on the surprise handing me clues in envelopes. Finally we had a romantic meal with our table lit by a heart on the jetty. The service, rooms and location were incredible and I can’t recommend them enough. You will love this place and it’s worth every penny!

A slice of paradise. One of the most relaxing resorts I’ve been to. Perfect for those wanting a digital detox (the WiFi can handle a few texts and basic emails but the island is so far from the mainland to handle more). The snorkelling is the best I’ve seen both at the resort and nearby. There’s a fantastic dive company on site for dives and trekking excursions.
