"Charming hotel in a great location. The room was comfortable, though mornings came with a touch of courtyard construction noise. Access after reception hours was a little tricky, but manageable. Morning coffee was available, although my attempt to enjoy it in my own cup earned me a gentle scolding from the manager — a moment straight out of Fawlty Towers ☕😉 "

"The hotel is well situated in a quiet area but walkable to the cetre of Berlin. Our bedroom was were large and comfortable and very quiet at night. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, with excellent English. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay ! "

"I liked that it was not located in a typical tourist area. The neighborhood was more working class, lots of immigrants, a real slice of Berlin life. Good access to a major transport hub at nearby Gesundbrunnen Station. Adjacent shopping center was nice and covered all needs. Classy German dining at nearby Lichtburg restaurant. Desk staff were helpful and spoke very good English. Quiet neighborhood--could leave the window open at night."
