"This place is wonderful. The location near the Nakkertok trails (walked, no snow yet) was excellent, and it is a convenient drive from the city. The home was spotless, perfectly appointed, with lots of thoughtful extras from the host. The lake is visible through the trees, and only a short walk down a path/boardwalk. We all had a great time!"

"Great beds and linen. All the items you will need to cook. Huge storage space in fridge and freezer. Magnificent round dining table for the 9 of us. Easy to use fire place with ample supply of nice dry firewood. "

"Pimishka is a great place for lake views & chill stay. Complete kitchen items and there’s a water provided. Though, I thought the place was located more in Old Quebec, but it’s closer to Ottawa. We had our itinerary plan to go to Mont-Tremblant and Montreal for the long weekend, we drove for 3 hours back and forth. I couldn’t cancel anymore the reservation, so we basically just slept in this chalet. I would recommend this place if you plan to just have a relaxing getaway and not going anywhere else. "

"Loved our stay here! The view was superb and the amenities on the property were excellent. The beds were so comfy and the bedding was perfect. Layout was spacious and immaculately clean. It was a bit tricky to find the property when we arrived (it was dark) - the instructions provided were good, and gps coordinates were helpful, but it was still confusing. Also, the property connects to adjoining house and the door/lock between the 2 is flimsy at best… we were traveling with small kids and worried (but maybe we’re just nervous parents). Speaking of kids; my daughters (ages 3,6,8) loved it here and didn’t want to leave. The playground and boathouse added to the fun and excitement. I would absolutely come back! Thank you for a beautiful long weekend as a family. "

"Quiet Auberge located not so far of downtown Wakefield. The host is so gentle and nice, nice attention and welcoming. The Breakfast menu is awesome, Waffles were so delicious. For music fans, the folk music scene is very exciting and Blacksheep has just reopened!"
