"Hotel room was nice and clean. Plenty of space. The pool was closed the whole time but we were able to lay out on the tanning chairs. The access to the “beach” was closed off due to not being ready for guests. We did not use the weight room but did visit it. Not much there but enough to get a small workout in while on vacation. There isn’t much near the hotel. We had to uber to Catania and Taormina for things to do."

"Bar was great, convenient and friendly staff. Front desk staff, Leo, was helpful and friendly. Clean rooms even if a little outdated. The area had a devastating natural disaster a few months ago so the area has a lot of construction which did not interfere with our stay."

"We had a wonderful time at Daniela's place! There were three of us so plenty of room and very comfortable. We spent nearly every waking moment out on the beautiful terrace enjoying coffee and breakfast or evening wine and snacks. The place was very clean, the kitchen was fully equipped and ready for preparing light meals. It was also very conveniently located with a cafe in the same building on the first floor and so many wonderful restaurants to choose from within a block or two of the apartment. It's also centrally located along the east coast of Sicily making it easy and convenient to drive to Taormina, Etna area and Catania (all within less than an hour drive from the apartment). Daniela and her son were very gracious and responsive to all of our inquiries. I highly recommend this rental and would definitely stay here again! Thank you, Daniela and Guido!!"

"Giuseppe and Jano are fantastic host, two friendly, and very lovely persons! The apartmant is beautiful and cozy, more than on the pictures! Well equipped kitchen, you have everything you need for making breakfast, or dinner. The bed is so comfortable with a view that you don't want to use the shader! Two huge and lovely terrace with stunning view! We had amazing days there, and definitely we we'll come back!! You can find a nice place to stay, but hosts like Giovanni and Jano are rare fortune!"

"It should be advertised that the property is in the 3rd floor with no elevators. It should be advertised that the property is in a hill and need to walk up this hillIf you don’t drive. Some outlets tape to the wall. The bidet looks like it hasn’t been used in decades. The beds are very low.Overall, if you are a budget traveller this should meet your needs"

"We had a fantastic stay in Sicily and the accommodation was fantastic and ideally located near the Beach ( Rocky but with good access via various boardwalks where payment is required but well worth it ) Our host Orazio was brilliant and even helped us sort out repairing a puncture we suffered on the first day and then invited us to a party he was holding that evening, Highly recommended "
