"This was one of our favorite places that we stayed in Portugal. Placid Village was located in a quiet area, but only a 15 minute walk to the restaurants and beaches in town. Going back to the hotel was an uphill walk, but not too bad if you are in decent shape. In the evening we did Uber back. Did not cost much at all to Uber. We loved our rooms with a bath and a half, plus, a washing machine. The kitchen was great, but our favorite was the beautiful pool area. So quiet and enjoyable. We spent every afternoon at the pool. We are recommending to family and friends coming in the future."
