Casa Oliveira is situated on a well-designed development of small villas where unobtrusive and extensive views of the mountains of Monchique can be enjoyed. Only a few minutes walk to the pretty unspoilt fishing village of Ferragudo with ATM points, shops, bars and restaurants. Across the river is the market and fishing port of Portimão with its marina and the beach resort of Praia da Rocha which can be visited using the Water Taxi available in the village. Eastwards from the villa is a short walk to the lovely beaches of the quieter Angrinha beach and Praia Grande where you can soak up the sun and enjoy lunch at one of the beach bars or participate in one of the waters sports which are readily available there. Casa Oliveira offers a home from home environment, superbly equipped including books and even inflatables for the pool to make your holiday hassle free and easy.

Great Villa

A beautiful villa, lots of space, very comfortable and well equipped. In a great location, a short walk from the beach or the main square in Ferragudo. Excellent communication with the host, any questions we had were dealt with promptly. Would definitely stay again.

Quiet, safe and comfortable

The host and office assistant were very welcoming and the location was perfect - away from the very busy community of Portimao but close enough to amenities. Secure parking on the property and easy access was appreciated. Very close to some wonderful golf courses. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Excellent location

Great spot to stay in Ferragudo. Easy walking to town and beaches. Quick proximity to many attractions by car. The pool and deck area were a great oasis to return to.

Great neighborhood

House location is on quiet end of street which was a plus. House is comfortable and pool area nice. Local market and coffee shop were friendly, and village a short walk away for great food in a very picturesque place. Would stay in this vrbo again. Note: we were 2 couples, so just know that 1 bathroom is not on the same floor as the 2 bedrooms.

Great base for Ferraguda

Been to Casa Oliveira before 7 years ago which is why we came back. Lovely location: easy to walk to the town and beach; great facilities; great pool; everything you want from a 2 bedroom house with a pool. George, the local property manager was attentive and on hand for any help needed. We’ll be back 😁

Relaxing Break

Great 2 bed property in a good location for wandering into Ferragudo. Steps into the pool are great and much better than the ladders that many of the other properties on this development have. Pool has sun throughout the day from early morning through to late afternoon.

Had an amazing time at this property again - Its location is perfect right next to the town and close to lots of golf courses. The property itself is also great - we loved the pool and went in everyday! Can’t wait to hopefully return soon! :)

Everything as described, pool very clean, aircon with a young baby was helpful in very warm weather. With a 10 min walk to town where there was an abundance of restaurants and cafes, the location was great.

Charming place

We spent a great week at charming Ferragudo. The villa is as advertised, clean and very nicely decorated. Kitchen is fully equipped. Check in,check out are easy. Couple of good local restaurants in a walking distance. Beautiful beach . Will definitely come back.

A lovely quiet villa, apart from the cockerel! But honestly not a problem. Location perfect for exploring the algarve. Had everything needed for a wonderful holiday. However, could do with some updating. Would certainly return, and would certainly recommend!

Wonderful Stay

The Villa is just superb, very good location, short walk down to Square and would get an Uber return. Villa has everything needed, only used upstairs shower but was very good, the bed in the main bedroom was excellent, very comfortable, outside area just perfect, pool was just right and garden furniture all very nice, villa totally private, not overlooked at all and in a nice road. Ferragudo maybe smaller than other locations, but has everything you need, the beach in particular is great, no sharp inclines into the sea, gentle waves and clear water, beautiful for young families, restaurants are all very good but take the tip to book in advance and the local bars are so friendly. Nothing more required for a lovely weeks holiday, highly recommend and hopefully will return soon

QUALITY ACCOMMODATION IN IDEAL LOCATION

Situated in a residential development (of which there are very many) initial impressions were not great but as soon as we walked round the side of the house to see the pool area we were impressed. Privacy and space galore, coupled with a spacious, modern and well equipped villa made this exactly what we wanted. A short walk takes you to the centre/square and many restaurants (we didn't find a bad one, some were really excellent) but when you return to the house you appreciate the space and peace. First time for us in Ferragudo, we expect to return soon and would certainly check availability for this property first. Highly recommended.

Nice villa, poor admin

The villa was lovely and great for our stay but unfortunately when we arrived at 10pm with our 4 month old baby it hadn’t been cleaned from the previous guests. We ended up having to stay elsewhere and the villa wasn’t cleaned until 4pm the next day. As we lost a day of our holiday and suffered quite a lot of inconvenience, we spoke to Vrbo and the owner about some form of compensation but the owner ignored our message.

Ferragudo family holidy

After getting of to a poor start, as the property had not been prepared for our stay, we had a great time and the host did her best to ensure our stay was enjoyable. We did have to call the lettings management as we had a problem with the upstairs toilet. The very capable maintenance man came and fixed the problem. The beaches near to the property are excellent and we had a memorable meal at a reasonable price on the beach. I would recommend the property to others.

Perfect quiet holiday

The villa being at the end of a cul de sac is very quiet with there being little or no traffic. There is a primary school nearby but there is no noise or traffic issues with it. The street the villa is in, is about a 10 minute walk from the town square and the harbour area where you can find various restaurants most of which serve fish caught that day. The villa itself was very clean and comfortable. There are 2 large bedrooms and a large bathroom upstairs with a small bathroom with a small shower downstairs. The living room area was very comfortable, with plenty of room and 2 sets of patio doors leading onto the pool area. The pool area is quite large and gets the sun all day. The area can accommodate the 6 sun loungers that are there very easily and still leave room around the pool. There is an older house to the rear of the property, to the right of the pool but this does not block the sun and the owners are very quiet, so although it seems quite near, it doesn't detract from the niceness of the villa or the location. The owners have a local company look after the property and they seem to be very responsive to any issues. We have used villas for several years now from some major well known providers and found this villa as good as any that we have had from these companies. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed, the villa and the location and wouldn't hesitate to use it again.
