ENVIRONMENT

The center of Carvoeiro, where there is a beach, numerous restaurants, small stores, banks with ATMs and the post office, can be reached in five minutes by car. A colorful market with typical Portuguese handicrafts invites visitors to stroll around.

There are also equestrian centers, two water parks, a diving school, Zoomarine, golf courses, tennis centers and plenty of water sports facilities in the vicinity of Carvoeiro.

The bathing season lasts almost all year round.
Large shopping centers and supermarkets such as Intermarché, Aldi or Lidl can be reached quickly by car.

Carvoeiro is the ideal starting point for discovering the Algarve. These include coastal walks, fantastic beaches, the Monchique Mountains with their 900 meters of altitude, Sagres as the most south-westerly point in Europe, historic towns such as Lagos and Silves, an interesting day trip to Lisbon (travel time approx. 2.5 hours) or an eventful day trip to Seville in Spain (travel time approx. 2 hours).
In summer, the Algarve offers a variety of cultural highlights in the evenings.
