This is a great villa in a lovely location. The bedrooms are roomy, all with king-size or super king-size beds. The air con is very welcome in the heat and worked well. The kitchen is well-equipped. The only thing that could have helped would have been a more user-friendly corkscrew. The cleaner, who was lovely, came in a couple of times a week to change the beds and do a general clean. The pool guy (also lovely) came in twice a week too. The two bathrooms are a great size, each with two basins and a large walk-in shower area. The pool is large and was great for swimming and splashing around in. The cushions for the outside dining table and the sun loungers were a bit tired and could do with being updated. There were only three of us so we doubled them up and had two on each lounger. WiFi was good and our son had no complaints! The villa is well located for the beach bar/restaurant O Stop (one of our favourites) - about 15 minutes away on foot. It’s a bit of a trek back up the hill but we managed it no problem in the evenings when the heat had subsided. We didn’t hire a car (first time not to do so on a villa holiday), and we didn’t miss it at all. Ubers are cheap and plentiful and typically arrive in about 5 minutes. We could easily get into Carvoeiro town in an Uber, have a lovely meal with a drink and not worry about having to drive back. There are plenty of nice restaurants in the town and also the local village. We’d definitely book again for this villa.
