"Do not stay at this hotel. The resort is nice, but they double-charged for my room. I paid Expedia for the room, but the resort charged me again. Both the resort and Expedia are refusing to issue a refund. If you want to risk theft, this is the place to stay."

"This place is great! Staff was amazing, room was clean and spacious. The bistro on site serves amazing breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We ate there for every meal during our stay and never had a bad meal. The only downside was the sargassum. We were there in April for spring break and it was bad. The beach was unusable, which was a shame. The pool was nice and since it's a small resort, it never felt crowded. We would definitely come back!"

"Everything was wonderful. The house is in a great area. Everything was clean and the beach there is beautiful. You are literally footsteps away from the beach! "We had an amazing stay a Kalimera Hotel in Placencia honestly one of the best hotels we’ve experienced, and we travel quite a bit. The hotel is small and boutique-style, which makes a huge difference. Because there are only a limited number of rooms, the staff can really focus on every guest and keep everything in perfect condition. The entire place felt very clean, calm, and beautifully maintained. If you’re looking to disconnect, relax, and be close to nature without crowds or noise, this is exactly the kind of place you want. It has a very peaceful, almost spa-like atmosphere. The staff was incredibly attentive and helpful. The beach is right in front of the hotel. Overall, I would absolutely rate this place 10/10. Definitely recommend! "

"This is a gem of a quiet, accommodation spot with a nice sandy beach, small pool, a good restaurant and nice swimming in the ocean out front. The accommodation huts are perfect, the beds are decent and we felt as if we had our own private resort for some enjoyed R&R. It’s a short drive away from Placencia but well worth it for this experience. Kids loved the pool, paddle boards, hammocks and large beach area. I definitely recommend this place!! "
