Excellent 10 day stay in beautifully furnished, immaculate unit. Pool area lovely and well maintained. Quiet location with enjoyable 12 minute walk to beach, restaurants, shops and grocery store.

The condo was spacious and the cleaning staff actually came in 3 times over the 8 day period we were there. They did a wonderful job of keeping the condo spotless. We loved the huge patio with a partial ocean view. We would often sit out there in the late afternoon and enjoy a glass of wine and some cheese. Tons of closet and dresser drawers for our clothing. It's a beautiful facility with a wonderful pool area and an excellent on site restaurant.

Our Apartment had everything we needed

Loved the location, short walk to beach and town centre. Praia da Luz is a small, slightly sleepy, town, with a dominant headline and day mark. Coastal path from Sagre to Lagos and beyond gives good views of the stunning rock formations which the Algarve is famous for.

Bahia da Luz is a fantastic complex situated in a quaint town. About 5 minutes walk to the beach and restaurants. Reception staff were friendly and helpful.

The apartment was okay to good. I was concerned about a lack of security. The door to the building had a broken lock so anyone could walk in. The complex is starting to feel its age and could use a refresh if they want to keep charging luxury prices. But they were friendly and the place is overall a nice place to stay.

A lovely unit to stay in. Spacious and a view over the rooftops to the sea in the distance. Unfortunately a nearby neighbour had 3 large dogs that barked a lot disturbing the otherwise peace and tranquility.

Just a wonderful relaxed and enjoyable stay, best apartment we have ever stayed in - huge! Duplex apartment with view out to sea. Spotlessly clean. So peaceful. Lovely swimming pool to laze around, with a separate children’s pool for the little ones. Pool side restaurant with very friendly service, good food and great service - goats cheese salad is a delight! 5-10 min wonder into Luz and the beach. Very relaxed 10 days. If you want more buzzyness, it’s a 10 min drive to Lagos. Loved it, highly recommended.

Unser Apartment in dieser gemischten Anlage (Eigentumswohnungen und vermietete Apartments) fanden wir bei Anreise sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet vor. In der Küche fehlte eigentlich kein Utensil um sich selbst versorgen zu können, wenn man das möchte (wir haben nur im Apartment gefrühstückt). Selbst eine Spülmaschine und eine Waschmaschine waren vorhanden - und für beide Geräte auch die entsprechenden Wasch-Tabs. Die Anlage insgesamt wird sehr gut gepflegt und daher ist auch der Aufenthalt auf dem Balkon sehr ansprechend. Der Weg zum langen Sandstrand oder der Strandpromenade von Luz ist nur 300-400m kurz. Die beiden Supermärkte im Ort sind ebenfalls gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Im kleinen Pool waren wir nur einmal ganz kurz - wir haben lieber im Meer gebadet. Das einzige was wir uns noch gewünscht hätten, wäre ein Sonnenschirm für den Balkon (Südausrichtung in unserem Apartment) - wir haben uns mit unserem kleinen Strandschirm beholfen. Bei unserer Ankunft war die Jalousie im Schlafzimmer defekt und durch eine Straßenlaterne direkt davor kam Licht ins Zimmer. Die Jalousie wurde am zweiten Tag zunächst vollständig geschlossen und am dritten Tag unseres Aufenthalts haben wir sie am Abend repariert vorgefunden. Damit hatten wir so schnell nicht gerechnet. Auch dies für uns ein Zeichen wie sehr die Anlage gepflegt wird und wie Anliegen der Gäste behandelt werden.
