Overlooking the sea with spectacular views, Ocean View 4 is one of an exclusive development of only 6 terraced villas which share a swimming pool. Ocean View is set in a quiet location very close to a small sandy beach. The property is just 250 metres from the centre of Luz and its main beach, restaurants, bars, cafes and shops. This air-conditioned property is beautifully decorated and furnished to a very high standard. The property has a large open plan lounge/dining area with wall-to-wall/floor-to-ceiling patio doors providing breathtaking views of the sea and opening out onto a spacious terrace (with retractable shade) and lawn equipped with outdoor furniture. The kitchen is large and fully equipped with modern appliances including a Nespresso coffee machine and a large Weber Gas BBQ on the kitchen terrace. The property has 3 bedrooms (1 double and 2 twin) and 2 bathrooms (one en-suite). The villa shares a pool and has secure underground parking for 2 cars. See the floor plans included in the photos to get an idea of the layout. The rooms sizes are given in square metres! Free Wifi. For stays over 7 days, a midweek towel change and clean is included.

The view from this villa was absolutely stunning. The villa itself was spotless, beds were comfortable and the main living area was spacious. Villa was also within walking distance of several restaurants, supermarket and public sandy beach. Property Manager was responsive to any questions and very pleasant. If we were to return to Portugal I would stay here again!

Exceeded expectations! Spectacular!
We loved everything about this property. The view is incredible and the way the house it's set back from and above the road makes it very private. The house is spacious, nicely furnished, and very well equipped. Underground garage was very convenient. The town and beach are a short and pleasant walk away, and we really loved the vibe there. Plenty of restaurants and shops, but never so busy that you couldn't get a seat. The beach was gorgeous and wide, with plenty of umbrellas and lounges to rent. Water was definitely cold, but very clear and refreshing. We enjoyed every minute at this property and hope to be back some day!

Beautiful View and Quiet Stay
Our family was looking for a quiet place to enjoy being by the ocean and this house was a wonderful fit. Hearing the waves at night was a dream come true. The town of Luz was optimal for us as well as it had just enough of everything to keep us fed and entertained. The walk to the two nearby grocery stores is pleasant. The walk to the beach is easy with towels and beach supplies in tow. We want to come back.

Fantastic property!
We spent 4 days at the property and it was amazing! The best part of it in my opinion is the view onto the ocean and nearby cliffs. Really a great spot to sit out while taking in the view. It’s absolutely gorgeous! The villa is modern and seems to have been completely renovated. It’s a quiet area but you can walk to the restaurants and bars in a few minutes. The beach is not much further. Lagos is maybe a 10min drive as well if you want something more. We found this to be a perfect location. The underground parking is a bonus if you have a car. It’s tight but easily doable. There is a small pool, but we didn’t get a chance to use it. Looks like it would be a nice spot to take a dip if the weather was warmer. Overall we loved this place and would definitely return. Thank you!

Amazing view of the ocean. Huge villa with everything you need, the underground parking is such a treat. Less than 10mins walk from the beach, but in a quiet spot. The pictures really don't make it justice, it is simply wonderful

High quality property in perfect location. The house is large and finished to a very high standard, with top end equipment fitted to kitchen and bathrooms. It overlooks the sea and is a short level stroll into the village. The pictures shown are very poor, and really don't do the place justice.

More than we anticipated
We booked this property sometime in advance of our stay. By the time we arrived, it had been renovated to an even higher standard than when we booked. Located on the water with a magnificent view of the sea you will be lured to sleep by the sound of the surf, cook in a well equipped ultra modern kitchen (or walk to any of a dozen restaurants). An ideal vacation experience!

OVERALL VERY GOOD, BUT THE DEVIL'S IN THE DETAILS. (READ ON.) First, there's plenty to like and enjoy about this rental. It was very clean when we arrived, the views are incredible, the location and closeness to the small town of is wonderful. The secured garage below is a real plus and plenty of towels. Now the devil being in the details. There were a few things that were a drawback for example when we arrived there was no clean sponge, there wasn't any soap to wash dishes and there wasn't any soap for the washing machine. In addition bags were needed for the garbage can to change it daily as they requested and none were provided. These were all things we had to purchase ourselves. Not the end of the world but something I would expect. One of the bathtubs drained very very slowly so taking a shower wasn't much fun in that one. Also, and maybe there's something going on in the property manager's life, but we texted him on the second day of our 7-day rental about some supplies that were needed and we've never heard back from him. So less than optimum communication. So overall certainly thumbs up, like I said the view is absolutely fantastic and it would handle six people nicely though the kitchen could have a bit more in the way of good cooking implements for those who really enjoy cooking on their own while staying in a place. Finally, would have preferred to have known the rental would have towels refreshed and a light cleaning. Great they did this, but a real surprise when two people showed up wanting to come in.

Fantastic location
We stayed here with our two kids (4yo and 6 month old) for 2 weeks and had a perfect holiday. The house is spacious both indoor and outdoors. There’s plenty of space to hang out with views of the ocean from almost anywhere in the house. We had some issues with the air conditioner system one night but it wasn’t really required since the ocean breeZe was sufficient. The location was perfect in Luz. It’s a short walk away to the center/restaurants/beach. Yet far enough that it was away from the noise. The pool was ideal since it was directly overlooking the ocean. Pool chairs would have been nice to have but otherwise it was relaxing. We’ll def be back for longer stay here in Luz with our family.

A lovely location
We have just returned from eight days at this property in Luz. Firstly and probably foremost is its location. As the pictures show the property is directly opposite the sea with wonderful views over Luz bay and beyond. There is a coastal path in both directions towards Lagos and Burgau. The town centre and restaurants are only a couple of hundred metres away and easily reached on foot. There is also a lovely beach in Luz. All of Luz is easily walkable with 2 supermarkets in the town. There is a nice patio at the front with awning over. So the location of the property is ideal. Close to town for great convenience but also away from any noise. The front garden is a lovely place to sit. There is little to no traffic going by. At night you can here the crashing of the waves on the rocky shoreline. The is also new Weber gas barbecue on the rear patio and a coffee machine in the kitchen which takes Nespresso capsules. Overall the house is in good condition with all you could need. The is a smart tv which links with Apple and Android machines. The WiFi internet is incredibly fast. I’m not sure if there is a limit on downloads as we didn’t use it to stream films. The beds are comfortable , the main bed is a little small for our taste being a queen size. The singles are a little firmer. All mattresses seem reasonable quality and more comfortable than many others in Portugal. Praia de Luz is generally quiet and laid back and ideal for young families. It’s is not a vibrant resort like some other places on the Algarve. It’s an hour from Faro airport. In my opinion a car is essential so that you can explore around. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would like to return. Also we enjoyed lovely views of the moon at night.

Fantastic spacious, well equipped villa in a wonderful location. Watching the sun rise from the main bedroom each morning was a great start to each day. The villa is an flat, easy 5 mins stroll in to Luz and it’s abundance of restaurants. We were also blessed with sunny warm weather and had plenty of opportunity to relax in the garden with its glorious sea views. A perfect 2 week break.

Villa was beautiful spacious. To come down in the morning and see those amazing views was just breathtaking. Location was amazing . A downside to us: The BBQ is a gas BBQ and used by the previous tenant as an ashtray with more than 50 cigarette butts still in it

Lovely villa in a quiet location.
I would definitely recommend this property. We met Jane, one of the property managers on arrival and she was extremely friendly and helpful and was always available during our stay for any questions about the property. The Villa is more spacious than it looks from the photos. It was extremely clean. The air con and WiFi worked well. No complaints about the beds. Plenty of hot water. The kitchen is well equipped but could perhaps do with some extra glasses. There were 4 of us and not 4 matching glasses. If there were 6 people you might struggle. Lovely terrace for dining alfresco. Great to have a bbq too. Parking space underneath the villa was perfect and very secure. Lovely quiet location with amazing views of the sunrise. 10 min walk to restaurants and supermarket.
