"I had a lovely solo stay at Maria Rousse! It was clean and quiet at the hotel with only a few minutes walk to the Malia strip which leads to Malia beach! All the hotel staff were very pleasant and friendly! It was never any issue getting a sun lounger by the pool! The food at the bar was very tasty especially the Cretan breakfast which I ate most mornings! I also highly recommended the bars cocktails! "

"This was a lovely apartment right on the sea with easy access to the beach. Communication with the host was easy and helpful. "The property was great. We were welcomed by the owner and treated with cake, water and wine. The one issue was Crete was much larger than we expected and property is located in the middle of the island. We were not able to explore as much as we wanted due to our time constraints. The property located on a closed military establishment with homes interspersed and restaurants along the coast. Washer worked great tho instructions were in Greek and took much longer to do a load than expected....

"We have just completed the most relaxing holiday ever. Ester was in touch with us before our arrival and made everything so smooth. We we're greeted by Ester and her son Nikos on arrival and we're greeted by lots of Goodies. Homemade meal, wine and fully stocked fridge and pantry. "Lovely villa and owner was brilliant. BBQ area fan was not working and no BBQ utensils but owner was not aware and will fix. Boasted indoor pool which looked nice but it was locked so we could not use it at all. We didn’t like to ask about it but it wasn’t really needed!!! All in all nice place and with 6 bedrooms it was good value!"
