Welcome to The Bright House, a peaceful garden retreat in the heart of Laguna Beach. Enjoy the rare combination of a quiet, secluded setting with the beach, Main Beach, downtown restaurants, shops, galleries and the walking promenade all within an easy walk.

After a day at the beach or exploring Laguna, come home to your large enclosed garden with mature trees, flowers and fruit trees. Relax in the gazebo, enjoy outdoor dining, take a refreshing rinse in the outdoor shower, or unwind in the sauna. The garden provides a peaceful place to enjoy the California sunshine while still being close to everything Laguna Beach has to offer.

THE PROPERTY

The Bright House is a charming two-story home with separate upstairs and downstairs units. We offer the entire downstairs unit for vacation rental, including the living area, two bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom and large garden.

The home is comfortably furnished with a light, clean, and welcoming style.

Bedrooms & Sleeping

The primary bedroom features a queen-size memory foam bed, a closet, and views of the garden.

The second bedroom has a queen-size sofa bed with a memory foam topper and a French door separating it from the living room.

The living room sofa also converts to a queen-size bed, providing additional sleeping space.

Kitchen

The modern, fully equipped kitchen has a slight ocean view and includes a convection oven, microwave, dishwasher, full-size refrigerator, cookware, cooking utensils, and other essentials.

Fresh linens, towels and beach towels are provided.

Garden & Outdoor Amenities

One of The Bright House's special features is its large enclosed garden. Mature trees, flowers, and fruit trees create a peaceful, private-feeling setting where you can relax away from downtown activity.

The garden includes a gazebo, outdoor dining and lounging areas, a patio heater, a barbecue, a meat and fish smoker, a water cooler, an outdoor shower, and a sauna.

The spacious grassy area provides room to relax, enjoy the outdoors, or let the kids play.

The outdoor shower is especially convenient after a day at the beach, while the sauna offers a relaxing wellness experience without leaving the property.

BEST PRIME LAGUNA BEACH LOCATION

The Bright House is located in Laguna Village, close to the beach and downtown.

You can easily walk to nearby beaches, Main Beach, the beach promenade, downtown restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, art galleries, grocery stores, the movie theater, post office, and farmers market.

The property provides an excellent combination of **beach access, walkability, privacy, garden space, and wellness amenities**.

Leave the car parked and enjoy much of Laguna Beach on foot.

PARKING

Two parking lanes are available at the Glenneyre garden entrance, accommodating up to four cars.

Each parking lane accommodates four vehicles parked in tandem, one behind the other, for a total of up to four vehicles when parked properly.

If you occasionally need parking for additional vehicles, please check with the host in advance. Additional parking may occasionally be available upon request and must be approved by the host in advance.

GUEST ACCESS

Guests have access to the entire downstairs vacation rental, including the two bedrooms, living room, kitchen, bathroom, private garden, gazebo, sauna, outdoor shower, and other outdoor amenities.

The home has two convenient access points. One entrance is from Ramona Avenue and provides a convenient route toward the beach and Glenneyre Street. Another entrance is available from the parking area through the garden.

The on-site host is located upstairs in a separate unit and has a separate entrance via a pathway adjacent to the garden. The garden, gazebo, sauna, and outdoor amenities are reserved for guest use.

Laguna Beach is a year-round destination for beach lovers, art enthusiasts, food lovers, and outdoor adventurers.

Enjoy swimming, surfing, paddleboarding, kayaking, hiking, snorkeling, tide pools, art galleries, restaurants, boutiques, and beautiful coastal scenery.

Laguna is especially vibrant during its summer art season, featuring the Sawdust Art Festival, Laguna Art-A-Fair, Festival of Arts, and Pageant of the Masters. These popular events typically take place from late June through early September, with dates varying each year.

The location also makes The Bright House an excellent base for exploring other Southern California destinations. Newport Beach, Dana Point, and San Clemente are all conveniently accessible along the Orange County coast. Anaheim and Disneyland Resort are also within driving distance, so you can combine a relaxing Laguna Beach stay with visits to Southern California's major attractions and theme parks.

John Wayne Airport (SNA) is conveniently located in Orange County and is approximately a 15–25 minute drive from the property, depending on traffic.

LAGUNA BEACH WEATHER

Laguna Beach offers something for everyone, with beautiful scenery, a vibrant village, and a pleasant coastal climate year-round.

The Pacific Ocean helps moderate temperatures, and Laguna's coastal setting and surrounding hills create a generally more comfortable environment than many inland areas of Orange County. Summers are typically more moderate than inland locations, while winters remain mild.

This makes Laguna Beach an enjoyable destination year-round.

PETS

Guest pets are welcome.

Please ensure pets are house-trained, supervised, and walked outside to relieve themselves. Please clean up after your pet.

Guests are responsible for any damage, extra cleaning, or lawn restoration caused by their pets.

Pets that are not friendly must be leashed while outside, and excessive barking is not permitted out of respect for neighbors in the surrounding homes.

ACCESSIBILITY

The entrance to the downstairs unit includes one small step. Otherwise, the unit and outdoor areas are generally flat.

NEIGHBORHOOD & NOISE

Our neighborhood is generally very quiet.

Occasionally, during peak weekend hours, you may hear light traffic noise from vehicles using local streets as an alternative to Pacific Coast Highway (PCH).

The property is located in a residential neighborhood. Guests are expected to respect quiet hours, neighbors, and the surrounding community.

The on-site host occupies the upstairs portion of the home separately. Guests have their own downstairs living space and garden areas as described above.

Private outdoor dry sauna: $50 optional use fee, covering sauna linens, preparation, and cleaning. Vrbo may display this fee as “Hot Tub” because a sauna-specific fee option is unavailable.
