Charming Downtown Laguna Beach Cottage-beach across street/town 1 block

Cottage House is one block to beach and one block to downtown. Central air conditioning and heating. It's the perfect location for a Laguna Beach vacation. 3 Bedroom, 2 baths, two master bedroom suites each with bathroom en suite and a Ca king bed. Queen Sleeper sofa in living, third small bedroom with a twin size bed. Kitchen and master bath with all the modern conveniences. The house has dishwasher, laundry and patios including outdoor BBQ and large private patio on the front of the house with lots of outdoor furniture. The house includes parking on-site. During the summer the free trolley service is available to take you north or south anywhere in town and beyond. The bus stop for both directions is right across the street from the house on PCH. Everything (beach across the street, restaurants, shopping, entertainment, etc.) are within walking distance from the house. You can park your car on the property and walk everywhere. If you need additional onsite free parking, a 2nd parking spot may be available upon request. Contact the owner.

The Laguna property was absolutely fabulous! We were able to walk to all the local establishments during the crazy 4th of July week. It was wonderful to stay for a family wedding. The grandkids enjoyed the beach toys and we all enjoyed a BBQ dinner our last night. Thank you to our gracious host.

The photographs don't do the cottage justice. It was brighter and roomier than we expected. It was a wonderful location that allowed us to walk to the beach and Pageant in minutes. The local free trolley facilitated adventures farther down the coast. The cost for being so centrally located was a bit of traffic noise, especially when relaxing in the front yard. We would definitely stay there again!

This is a great home right near the center of town. It's larger than it appears in the photos and beautifully furnished. It is well appointed with just about everything you could need. The only thing to note is it's up a hill from town, easy for most renters but challenging for someone with agility issues. Lou is an excellent host, welcoming and concerned with your enjoing Laguna Beach.

Very short walk to the beach and lots of shops and restaurants. It was perfect for our stay in Laguna. One note, it is on a busy road on one side so the early morning road noise can be disruptive but nothing ear plugs can’t fix!

We spent 6 nights in the cottage, really comfortable beds, very well equipped and so close to all the facilities of Laguna Beach, only a few minutes walk. We used several excellent restarants all within a short walk of the property as well as preparing some meals in the cottage. We had a couple of occasions when we needed some help, the owners were extremely helpful and very prompt . The cottage was very well maintained and thoroughly cleaned prior to our arrival.

Loved this well-maintained beach house! Super great instructions for checking in, everything you will need for your stay including beach towels and beach chairs. Lots of street noise, but that’s the trade off for the perfect location. We just closed the windows at night, and I always travel with ear plugs anyway. Planned on taking the free trolley, but we really had no trouble walking everywhere, even my cousin who uses a cane. Loved the short walk right across the coast highway at the crossing light to The Cliff restaurant for ocean-view dinner and cocktails. Would definitely book this vacation home again.

The property is in a fantastic location, walk to everything. I wouldn't recommend for more than 2 couples. The only bathrooms are in the two bedroom suites. We had 6 people, so the other two had to consistently enter the other rooms for bathroom access. Not convenient for night. Other than that, property owner was great and responsive. The water heater was not working the first day and he had it fixed quickly.

This house was spectacular! It is so close to downtown that we ended up walking everywhere. The house is very sound as well, so the street noise was not loud at all. The house was very clean, and very comfortable. I feel like the pictures do not do the house justice. It is very updated and beautiful. We traveled with our 4 kids (all under 10 years), and it was the perfect house for them. The front patio is extremely secure, and it gave them the space to play outside safely. The house has everything you need-beach toys, boogie boards, chairs for the beach, towels. And Lou was so communicative. I am so lucky to have had the chance to stay here. We will definitely come back and stay in the future.

We had a great time staying in Laguna at Lou's property. The best thing about this cottage is the location. We didn't get in our car all weekend. You're steps away from a ton of amazing restaurants, bars and beaches. The house itself was cozy and unfortunately both bathrooms are located in the rooms (which is a challenge if you're using the pull out couch or small bedroom for guests), but other than that, it had everything we needed. In a location like that, you won't find yourself spending much time at home - you will be out and about! Lou was awesome - super responsive and we saw him at the property on Saturday morning. He was so friendly and was able to get us a last minute crib request. If we come back to Laguna, we will DEFINITELY be staying here again!

Our group consisted of two couples getting away for a long weekend at the end of August. We enjoyed the great location in Laguna Beach, easy walk to all the restaurants and downtown shopping (although the shops/restaurants opened later than we would have preferred). The walk to the beach was an easy walk across the street. Note that there was no ocean view. We didn't expect there to be one, but someone may want to know for future searches. When we stayed we were the only ones in the building for most of the time and it was nice and quiet. There were beach towels, umbrellas and chairs for us to use. We also found a fun Frisbee on the beach that we added to supplies. They had some toys (boogie boards and sand toys) for renters to use as well. The condo was kept very clean and the A/C was nice to have for the humid days. The owners were quick with responses to email prior and during our stay which was great. We would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed at many VRBO properties all over the world. This place was fantastic! Not only was the location perfect for walking around Laguna, but it was so well stocked! The bathrooms had full-size toiletries, many towels, hair dryers and extra toilet paper! Most properties give you one roll and you have to buy the rest. The kitchen had consumables like dish soap and paper towels, spices, foil, and even coffee liners. I appreciate the extra condiments (mustard, ketchup, salad dressing) left by previous guests and I hope the extras we left benefit others as well. The Exxon Mini-mart is a 1 minute walk. The weather was cold when we were there, but we still used the beach chairs and the volleyball in the community shed. We were a family of 5 and this space was perfect. We didn't need the fold-out couch, but it would have been an option. There were 5-6 extra pillows and super soft blankets in the closets. The two large bedrooms have their own large flat-screen TV's and the main TV also had Netflix capability. Would absolutely recommend Lou's property and will stay there next time we are in Laguna.
