"Excellent location to access Tikal. Pool was amazing! We swam in the rain. The bungalows are incredible. We appreciated having power at night to charge phones, even though the main building turns off their generator. The food is great, staff was kind and patient with our limited Spanish. Netting around the beds was a must for night time, worked well and kept the gnats out. Overall excellent experience and highly recommend staying here to explore Tikal. "

"Awesome place to stay! This is closest you can stay to Tikal Mayan ruins. Rooms were clean. Property itself was well maintained. I saw parking space for about 8 cars but there were only about 4 cars and I didn't have any problems to park there. There was a foosball and pool table. They showed a documentary about Tikal in projector. Onsite restaurant, snacks, bar were amazing too. In short, if you are visiting Tikal, this is the place to stay."

"We had the a fantastic time. This is the most amazing hidden gem in Guatemala. Whether staying at the hostel or hotel, the staff treat you as if you are the most special guest they’ve ever had. Fantastic food at the very chic and cute jungle themed hotel restaurant, which was an average of $20 per person for a very upscale meal. Rooms are a good size and cute theme, very clean sheets. "We loved out stay at Casa de Don David! The grounds are beautiful and the rooms were comfortable for our visit to Tikal. The food was also delicious. The staff helped us arrange a driver for airport pickup and dropoff as well as transportation to and from Tikal. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you!"

"Hice mi reserva y pago por medio de la pagina. Cuando llegue al hotel, me indicaron que no trabajaban con niguna pagina se hoteles y que no tenian mi reserva. Al contactarme con Hotels.com para conentarle el caso me indican que no se pudieron contactar con el establecimiento por lo que no me podian hacer un reembolso. He usado muchas veces Hotels.com y es la primera vez que me pasa esto, lamentablemente una lección de $100 :("
