Such a peaceful walk through Devil's Gulch in Samuel P Taylor State Park. This trail roughly runs creekside and loads of wildflowers. It's also a breeding stream for coho salmon and steelhead trout. #Hiking #Green #Springfun
The trail over sees the coast the first 40minutes of the hike and then starts heading through the woods for another 40minutes before it hits a camp site. Can be dusty by the coast from wind. Beautiful hike and a bit vigorous since some parts are rocky. Well worth it!
There are so many different kinds of wild mushrooms here. I think I found a new hobby. :) #hiking #forest #nature

this is actually bill williams gulch, about a quarter mile from phoenix lake in ross, california. the dense redwood forest and waterfalls make this place feel literally magical.

Big Rock trail in Lucas Valley/ Loma Alta Open Space preserve. Even in the height of summer, with the grasses dry and brown, the views are amazing! Remember to bring water and sunblock as you hike on the ridge line. There are lovely ‘oasis’ along the way in the form of islands of trees and even a spring fed water trough for horses.
