"We were 3 couples and two children which turned out to be a perfect number. We arrived to a home that was easy to get into and spotlessly clean. We had 2 rental cars and parked one in the designated spot and paid to park the second one in a nearby unreserved space. My husband and I stayed in the master suite upstairs. It was wonderful to sleep with the sound of the crashing waves and wake up to the unobstructed view of the sea. The suite included a sitting area and a large and 2-sink bathroom. There is a small deck with two chairs and a little table - perfect for an early-morning cup of coffee and watching the kids playing on the beach. The 2 main bedrooms downstairs were large and comfortable. In fact all the beds were supremely comfortable. We all slept really well. The small bedroom with 2 twin beds was perfect for the 2 10-year olds. The kitchen was large and well-appointed with everything we needed to make simple meals. The large table on the patio was perfect for meals with the whole family. The location is really the best thing about this condo. A quick walk (20 yards?) and you’re at the little opening where you can access the beach. Along the way is a little outdoor shower for rinsing off. The beach itself is uncrowded - just the other condo residents - and the waves were always just right for body surfing, even for the girls. All in all, this is no doubt an exceptional way to spend a week in Maui. I would highly recommend it!"

"Authentic Lahaina Stay with Unbeatable SunsetsWe stayed for five nights to celebrate a birthday and Mother’s Day—three sisters seeking peace and connection. The home is located right on a busy road, which was a surprise. You will hear both traffic and the powerful ocean, but the beachfront sunsets made it completely worth it.The view is truly stunning—no need for a sunset cruise. The house is simple and clean, designed for indoor-outdoor living. All bedrooms are upstairs. The air conditioning and fans worked perfectly. We had no bug issues—just a few tiny ants, which is normal, and one brief mouse visit.We did not cook, just used the refrigerator for salads and yogurt. The kitchen is barebones but functional. The couch has changed from the listing photos, and only one pool is available, which may need updating. We did not use the washer and dryer.There were plenty of beach supplies: chairs, boogie boards, surfboards, towels, and an outdoor shower that kept sand out. Floors were a bit dusty—zories (flip-flops) helped.The location is great. We loved the sunrise at Maalaea, hula show at the Cannery, crafts market in the Ross lot, and Mama’s Fish House (pricey but worth it—book early). Avoid the chaos of Whalers Village. Plenty of great lunch spots behind Safeway and the Cannery.This is not a resort. If you want a polished hotel, look elsewhere. But if you seek the spirit of ohana, peace, and connection to the land, this is the place. "

"We were super impressed with the property in the accuracy of the description to where we actually stayed. They really covered all the bases with supplies from towels to silverware we had everything we needed. Communication was also super easy, we were able to text any questions and get quick responses. We will definitely stay here again "

"This unit was clean, well equipped, and had a very practical layout for our family of two adult couples plus two teenagers. Highlight was the waterfront location with covered patio a mere 20 feet from water’s edge! Wonderful sound of ocean waves, 24 hours a day.Not so wonderful was the major road about 50’ from the front door. In fairness, the ocean drowned out the traffic noise completely in the rear bedroom and the front bedroom was acceptably quiet as long as the windows were closed and the air conditioner was running.Not acceptable and no fault of the owners was the extremely annoying rooster living nearby that started crowing every morning between 4:20 and 5:00 am. Ear plugs were a necessity if you want to sleep later than 5 am and if you are a light sleeper, I would find accommodations in a building several floors above ground level. There are feral chickens everywhere on Maui so I imagine the early morning crowing is common in many locations."
