"The cottage is very basic and dated, but the location can’t be beat. It is a lovely, quiet spot (secluded, even) between Kenmare and Sneem. No internet, no frills, but the owners are very nice and the cottage had everything that we needed. We found the bed to be quite hard. We really enjoyed our stay."

"We had a wonderful stay at Skellig Bay Cottage! The house was spacious and comfortable and had everything that we needed. The location was perfect for relaxing in front of the views and short day trips to all of the sights. Our favorite part of the house was the large ocean front window. We all took turns sitting in the comfy chairs reading a book or just taking in the scenery of sheep and ocean. Thank you for a great stay in the Ring of Kerry!"

"After a long drive from Shannon Airport, we opened the door to Seashell Cottage and immediately felt like we were home. The scenic surroundings offered us peaceful mornings to lounge over coffee and enjoy the stunning view, and the perfect base to venture out to explore the Skellig Coast — which we have fallen in love with. "Our week’s stay at the cottage was very pleasant and peaceful. We enjoyed watching the sheep and the scenery from the cottage was beautiful. We had difficulty finding the cottage as there are no road names and after an overnight flight from Toronto and then a four hour drive from Dublin the directions didn’t work on our phone. With some relief we finally spotted it and arrived."

"It was great! After the initial shock of the size (online picture made it appear larger than it was, would have been ideal for 2 people but not so much for 3 adults). Loved the old charm of the renovated stone building and the setting was perfect. A short walk to the beach and a short ride to Dingle. Great hiking nearby and pub just down the street. The host and on-site manager were both responsive and accommodating. Would definitely go back again but would choose one of the larger cottages."

"Beautiful house, immaculate. Spacious rooms and large walk in shower. Well equipped kitchen, warm. No satellite TV unfortunately. Great views all round, the sea and the mountains. Very welcoming with owners parents next door if we needed anything. It would have been useful to have a signpost to the property as we did get lost. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here."
