Beautiful Log Cabin in The Hideout

Beautiful log cabin right across from the golf course! This spacious cabin boasts 4 bedrooms on 3 floors with a full bathroom on each floor! Enjoy a soak in the large hot tub or bbq on the deck as you look over the wooded back yard. Play pool in the basement or relax in the jetted tub. Make smores by the firepit. Beautiful screened in porch lets you relax and enjoy nature as you read a good book.

The Hideout is a four star gated community and has many amenities - Two pools, two areas to enjoy the large lake a 9 hole golf course (across the street), Club house to eat lunch and dinner, and a brand new full recreation center with indoor tennis, gym, game room, salon, library and all purpose room for movie viewing. We have a art center where you can paint pottery and outdoor tennis and basketball courts.

Annual winter getaway

Perfect getaway!!

Excellent time

This is the second time that we’ve stayed there for two years. We go up for the cardboard classic by 93.3 WMMR at montage Mountain. Always a very fun time. Everything is exactly as described and simplified.

The Hideout - Log Cabin Home

This property is a gem. Nicely kept, safe location in gated community and pictures were very accurate. There is plenty of space and is great for a getaway. Will definitely reserve it again.

Beautiful Pocono House

The house was very clean and beautifully decorated. The trail that runs along the creek behind the house was great to walk along with kids. The kids loved the toys and the hot tub!!

Great girls weekend!

We had the best time staying at “The Hideout!” At Lake Ariel! The house was warm and cozy and comfortable. The hot tub was perfect and clean. There’s was plenty of space to spread out and the beds were all super comfortable. Definitely hoping to come back someday soon!

Our family had a wonderful time together in this cabin! It was very spacious and everyone enjoyed the hot tub! Location was great and close to other amenities. A few minor things could have been updated or fixed though, but nothing that was significant to ruin the trip!

A Charming Escape

Amazing property

Our stay was short but amazing! The house is beautiful and the pictures do not do it justice. We had a great trip, enjoyed the outdoors and property with family. Julie is amazing and very easy to communicate with. We are looking forward to returning for another round of R&R!

Beautiful house in the Hideout

We rented the cabin for a girls weekend and had a great time! The house was very spacious and the views were gorgeous. We did run into a slight issue on arrival but Julie the host was very responsive and set someone out immediately to fix the issue. She proceeded to check on us throughout the weekend to make sure everything was perfect! Definitely would return to this place for a weekend getaway!

Wonderful vacation getaway home

This home was wonderful and truly exceeded our expectations. The bedrooms were spacious, the bathrooms large, the home very clean. My kids loved the hot tub after a day at the lake or pool! Julie was extremely responsive before and during our trip, which was so appreciated! We loved it so much, my kids asked if we could live there! Cell Service is spotty throughout the area, so make sure to plug in any gps locations into your phone before you leave the house. Otherwise, no issues! Thanks so much - we look forward to returning next year!

Nice but not as clean as I would have liked.

It was quiet, not a lot to do around there. The first appearance of the home was very nice. The kitchen wasn’t as clean as I expected. The stove was filthy and I really didn’t want to use it. There were cob webs everywhere. Under the bed was extremely dusty. Other than that it was nice. Probably wouldn’t go back. The owner was very nice and accessible.

Perfect Family Getaway

We had such an amazing week, it was beyond our expectations! The house was perfect and had plenty of space for everyone. Everything was clean, well stocked, and it was the perfect way for us to spend time together while offering lots of space to have quiet moments. The hot tub was a hit, and we spent lots of time at the dining room table playing games and talking. Our children had space to play and enjoyed the walking trails, pools and lake near by. We were able to cook and prepare food in the awesome kitchen, keep up on laundry, and enjoy morning coffee on either the front porch or back deck. Our last night we had a Thunder storm that knocked out the power for a short time, thankfully we found a large supply of candles and waited it out. WiFi was great, cell service is a bit spotty- but if you're truly looking to get away and unplug then this is exactly the place to do it! We cannot wait to come back next year!
