Le Petit Chalet is a unique lofted chalet nestled in the Pocono Mountains. Everything you need to escape the city and unplug from everyday stress! The big windows allow natural light to pour into the space. You'll love the flow of our indoor/outdoor living space with two sliding doors which open up to the deck - play board games in the outdoor living area, dine outdoors, grill, breathe in the pine trees and, take a nap on the hammock while you hear the wood burning on the fire pit

Le Petit Chalet is located in a four-season amenity-filled gated community.

EXTERIOR: The chalet has a large deck equipped with a five-burner stainless steel BBQ grill, an outdoor dining table, an outdoor living room, and umbrellas for those hot summer days. In front of the deck, you have the fire pit, Adirondack chairs, two hammocks, and string lights which will help you relax and stargaze during the night. Propane for the grill and complimentary firewood is included with your stay.

INTERIOR: The interior of the Chalet is rustic and evokes the countryside with beautiful wood paneling, exposed wood ceilings, and beams. It is well appointed with the amenities that you need to unwind and relax. Hi-speed internet WIFI is included with your stay.

Living Room - Comes with an indoor fireplace with large screen TV (55" in wide). The TV comes equipped with Netflix, Hulu, HBOmax, Amazon Prime, Disney+, Peacock & Roku TV.

Kitchen - Comes fully equipped with seating for 2 people over a rustic custom-made kitchen island. Full-size oven/electric range, microwave, coffee maker, crock pot, and full refrigerator/freezer. Pots and pans, silverware, dining set, and glasses are included.

Master Bedroom (LOFT) - Comes appointed with a full-size bed and cleaned comforter and linens. Additionally, you have a full sofa bed and extra pillows and linings

First Bedroom - Comes appointed with a queen bed and cleaned comforter and linens

Second Bedroom - Comes appointed with a trundle twin bed and cleaned comforter and linens

Bathroom - Full-size bathroom with tub, shower, and sink. Comes with cleaned towels

The whole entire property except for the shed is available

The Hideout is an amenity-filled four-season gated community that includes 24 hr security, a gated entrance, a clubhouse, 6 lakes for fishing and boating, and 250 acres of pristine woodlands. Additionally, the community has a multitude of recreational activities: sports complex, golf course, baseball field, basketball court, indoor/outdoor tennis, six lakes, two sand beaches, kayaking rentals (for a fee), playground, two heated outdoor pools, one with a tiki bar, physical fitness center, mini-golf, art center, woodworkers building, ski lift and lodge, ice skating, tubing run. 6 playgrounds and miles of private scenic roads to go biking/walking. Some activities in the hideout may require additional fees, however, they are minimal (i.e. ski lift, indoor tennis court, golf)

-at the main pool/beach you can rent kayaks and paddleboards, the rate is hourly
-we are only 1 mile to Paws N Claws Zoo which has every animal from South Africa and the entrance tickets are reasonable
-nearby horseback riding, paintball, driving range, and a water park. Lake Wallenpaupack is 10 minutes away and offers boat/tubing rentals, jet skiing, and marina facilities. We are just 15 minutes from Lackawanna Nature Preserve
-Pocono Raceway, Bushkill Falls
-in Hawley, PA you will find rail tours (Soarin Eagle Rail Tours)
-in Skytop, PA you will find Zip Lining
-the chalet is also less than an hour's drive to popular ski resorts such as Montage, Camelback, Big Boulder, Jack Frost, and Elk Mountain

*****THINGS TO NOTE: Community-run amenities such as the pool, lake, rec center, mini-golf, etc are provided by The Hideout Owners Association (HOA). Hours, capacity, and closures are at the sole discretion of the HOA. Le Petit Chalet has no governing control over the provision of such amenities and can not guarantee their availability during your stay. Additionally, once booked, we will send you a copy of our standard rental agreement which must be completed within 48 hours of receipt unless otherwise discussed.

ALL GUESTS will be registered with the community and must check in with the Hideout upon arrival, you will get car passes since the community is gated.

Le Petit Chalet is located in a gated community that has its own policies, security, and requirements for renting. Please read everything as we would like to be as transparent as possible. The Hideout community requires information on all guests prior to arrival, please note that the maximum number of guests is six (6), however, we do allow up to eight (8) if the additional two are children - THIS IS STRICTLY ENFORCED. We do not allow additional guests or visitors, if this were to occur you will lose the security deposit as we would be penalized with fines and won't allow us to continue to rent in the future. All guests must be 25 & older unless accompanied by a parent/guardian
