Lake Front Dream is a private home on beautiful Lake Arrowhead, California. This is a private lake in the San Bernardino Mountains, located within two hours of all major Southern California cities.

There is additional access to the lake at Lake Arrowhead Village via the Arrowhead Queen and McKinsey Ski School. There are 866,000 acres of forest, hundreds of miles of hiking trails, nearby lakes for boat rentals and mountain biking, fishing and skating, archery and other fun activities at the all new SKYPARK Village in Skyforest about 10 minutes away. Wonderful vacation

The house is beautiful. We loved cooking in their kitchen. The dock and beach area was a hit for us and the kids, the lake was beautiful. It was a wonderful stay and Bill was easy to communicate with even though he was out of town. Loved the experience.

We loved our stay. We are a big family and love cooking and this kitchen was a 15 on a scale of 1-10!!! 5 of us could cook in it at same time!! kayaks, canoes, games. Best VRBO we've ever rented.

Had a great time here, the lake is peaceful, and the view from the balcony is priceless. We stay at homeaway rentals all the time, and it's nice when you rent a place that is stocked with necessities ie spices, etc for cooking - most of the time places have nothing and if you want to cook, you have to buy these things, but this place was VERY well stocked, and the owner was very nice and helpful. I would definitely rent here again.

Family reunion venue

This is a relaxing and salubrious getaway location, with great summer weather, and especially conducive to a family reunion. Although on a mountain lake, access to the water is restricted for visitors, so be sure to check with the owner, Bill, as to your planned or expected activities with boating and water sports. The house provides canoes and kayaks to use, which was nice. As with many US lakes, a fishing license is required. Fun trails, both free and requiring a pass. The owner, Bill, is very accessible by phone, and was cordial and very helpful to us to get the maximum enjoyment possible for our stay!

We love cooking and a great kitchen with everything you could imagine. Had a fun fishing contest but not many fish. Kayaks and canoe perfect. Great location-close to town. Spent lots of time just sitting on deck and enjoying the view!!

Great Home

The home was the perfect place for our family’s winter weekend getaway. Plenty of rooms for everyone in our large group and the 2 living rooms accommodated separate activities when needed. Kitchen was huge and had everything it one could need. The only thing that could have been improved was to disarm the security alarm before our arrival, but our host quickly took care of it and the rest of the stay was wonderful!

Family Easter stay

Our family loved the property!!!! The house was spacious and was able to fit us all comfortably. The kitchen was absolutely amazing!!!! The view was beautiful! We had snow for the weekend and the view was amazing. The extra sleds and shovels that Bill provided for us was great. Bill was absolutely fantastic with communication and helpful with local questions and suggestions for us. His attentiveness to our family during the storm and overall was extremely helpful. Highly recommend this home.

Family vacation

The property was exactly as advertised. Beautiful lake front property with amazing views of the lake. The home is set up perfectly for a large group. The bedrooms were large and all had easy access to an adjacent bathroom. We all thought the beds were incredibly comfortable. The pool table, pinball machine, and foosball table were a ton of fun for all. The dock was equipped with fishing pools and life jackets and we also used the canoe and kayak provided. Our group had a wonderful time and we would definitely rent again in the future.

Great house in an amazing location

This wasn’t our first trip to Lake Arrowhead, but it was definitely the best. Owner met us at the house to show us around and make sure all our questions are answered. House has many great features, but the greatest is it’s location. Sitting in the middle of a small bay with a private beach between the house and the dock. We used canoe, and kayaks every day, and had a lot of fun navigating the lake. We also had a lot of fun, and success, fishing right off the dock. I highly recommend this house for either a short gateway or a longer stay.

We celebrated our 93 years old mother, grandmother's birthday while staying at this property. There were 13 of us and we loved the house. There were enough rooms and beds for everyone. Almost every room has its own bathroom. Close to shopping. The view is outstanding. The property owner was available quickly for questions. The only drawback is not having enough walking trails around the property but other than that, I highly recommend this place. We just loved our short family gathering.

Beautiful home needs cleaning

The home was beautiful and the pictures don’t do the home justice! Plenty of rooms and space for many families to come together for a family reunion. The owner was very responsive and helpful and went so far as to leave a bottle of wine for us to enjoy. The home does need a very deep cleaning: sticky handles, dirty drawers, etc. While the location itself is beautiful, there is some tension with the neighbors who may not be quite happy with the home being rented to vacationers. Overall a wonderful vacation and despite the issues noted above, a great location for our family reunion.

PERFECT group getaway! Can't wait to go back!

"WOW!" That's what everyone kept saying all weekend. Everything about this house is wonderful. Location: literally steps from the water and very close to town. Kitchen: the griddle and grill are awesome, as is having an extra refrigerator. Amenities: pool table, ping pong table, pinball machine, card table, DVD, WiFi, wet bar, canoe and kayak. Size and room layout: with 13 guys on a boys trip, we hung out upstairs, downstairs, in the loft, on the top deck, on the lower deck, on the private beach, on the dock and in the kitchen, and no one had to share a bed because the many giant couches are extremely comfortable! The pictures and description don't do this rental justice - I can't wait to go back, with extended family, or with a few other families and all the kids and dogs, or...whoever will come with me back to this amazing retreat!

Anniversary at Arrowhead

We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary during a week-long stay at Bill's place recently. Our 3 daughters, their husbands, and 5 grandkids were all there. We even had an extra bedroom. Everyone said that the house was the "best fit" for our family in terms of bedrooms, ambiance, view, fun, etc. of any of the half-dozen other homes we've rented in Oregon and California for similar family weeks over the past 10 years. The kayaks, the canoe, the dock, and the beach got a lot of use. We wanted to celebrate at Lake Arrowhead because the kids grew up visiting the cabin we had on Hook Creek Road for over 40 years before it burned in the big fire of 2003. So we visited our "roots;" the cabin site, the Malt Shop, Jenson's, the University of Redlands (where we met) and, especially, the Lake. It was perfect. Thank you Bill!

The best view

Bill the owner is amazing. Easy to communicate with. Their home is beautiful. The morning sunrise on the lake are breathtaking. The crisp fall air is amazing. My mom has a walker so she stayed on the first floor . It was perfect for her because the kitchen is on that level. The kitchen is incredible. You can BBQ, use a griddle, or stove. Two refrigerators and lots of pots, pans, etc. You really don’t need to bring anything. We went to Jensons grocery store and also down to the village. We did use The canoe and kayak . There are games to play, chess, and a closet of games. Huge bar area as well. The deck on each level is peaceful. Parking is easy! Dog friendly...We truly enjoyed the Erickson home and we would rent it out again. Thank you!

EPIC VACATION HOME

When our 3-family camping/cabin Spring Break trip to Big Sur was cancelled due to a huge Southern CA storm, the moms had to act fast. After all, we had 7 crying kids on our hands and nowhere to go! We investigated San Diego, Palm Springs, and then by luck of the universe stumbled upon this amazing property in Lake Arrowhead. Within 48 hours we piled into 3 SUVs and off we were on an adventure! Little did we know it would be the best vacation - yes EPIC - our kids have ever experienced. And because the kids were happy and entertained, the parents were in heaven. You won't be disappointed by your stay here, even if you are sans little ones. The home is well-appointed, the kitchen is amazing, the view is breathtaking and the owner has got to be one of the nicest owners out there. The VRBO site let us know what to expect, but upon arrival we discovered SO MUCH more! Each family had their own master bedroom, and there was plenty of room to spread out and not be on top of one another. We packed tons of board games and DVDs, all of which remained packed because of the well-stocked cupboards of games and things to do, not to mention pool and ping pong! We drove to Snow Valley for great sledding, and were welcomed by a HUGE, yes HUGE snow storm in mid April. It made the house magical - the kids built a snowman on the beautiful private beach, and had snowball fights to their heart's content. The kitchen is so great - a grill and a restaurant-grade griddle for great breakfasts! You cannot ask for more. We arrived a little early the first day, and even the cleaning people were charming and helpful - directing us to the grocery store and offering to let us leave our labrador in their care while they finished working. I would say if you are considering staying here, you should consider it done. But don't encroach on our return trip back... I mean, I kind of want to keep this place a secret!!!
