Cozy cabin stay

Really enjoyed this cabin! The size is perfect for one young couple and a small dog. The kitchen was perfectly stocked to cook our thanksgiving meal (cottage pie). Lydia was very responsive and kind. And the location was secluded enough for privacy/quiet while still being in range for some last minute food shopping.

A fairy perfect stay :)

My wife and I absolutely loved this beautiful little cottage. It is, by far, the most charming and romantic vrbo in which we have stayed. The home is tucked away and feels very private. There are cute gnomes, cute faces and fairy like homes to find as you explore the property. We highly recommend this to anyone looking for a fun, unique and romantic get away.

The property was very nicely decorated with lot's of varnished wood used to appoint the inside, especially around windows and doors...really made if feel like a woodsy cabin. The unit was very clean and had everything I needed in the kitchen. Nice location too. Lot's of nice big evergreens around the entire area.

sweet romantic getaway

My partner and I stayed 5 days/4 nights and had a terrific time. Cabin in the woods was super-well appointed since the owners live there as well. Lots of pots, pans. spices, coffee, tea, everything you need. Lydia was very responsive to every email within 12 hours. Self-check-in with a lock box was simple and straight-forward. We loved it and hope to return.

Magical & snowy stay at Storybook Nook!

Absolutely magical stay at this fairytale cabin! If you’re looking for every little detail to have charm & whimsy this is the place to go. Also, impeccably clean, pet friendly and has everything you need for a comfortable stay! We were not expecting heavy snow during our visit and came completely unprepared. Owners were communicative throughout our stay and did not hesitate to help us get to our new lodging safely!

Private Cottage Close to Everything

Great little cottage, private and tucked away in the mountainside, yet within close proximity to the shops and restaurants at Arrowhead Village. We visited a week after a snowstorm, so there was a nice snowy setting. The driveway, walkway, and stairs were all cleared of snow and ice before we arrived. We truly appreciated all the cohesive thematic details that certainly made it feel like we were in a storybook.

Amazing Nook, a must book!

Everything nook and cranny of this home was uniquely curated. From the amazing shower curtain, the acorn knobs, the fireplace, and wood trim, it was so very special. A very quiet location yet just a mile from the village, this is an ideal hideaway for a couple. Everything was absolutely perfect. Toasty warm, comfy bed, and stunning views of the moon through the trees. Our favorite cabin to date!

Spring Break Snow Away

Our stay was perfect! My daughter and I wanted a quiet peaceful getaway to relax and work on some craft projects. This was the perfect spot! The photos don't do it justice. The house is tucked away in a quiet little neighborhood close to the Village. The hidden gems of fairytale decor are spread out indoors and outdoors. We enjoyed our stay so much and got a couple of days of beautiful hiking weather as well asa couple of snow days! Lydia responded quickly to messages and David came by to clear the snow before we left. Can't wait to visit again soon!

Adorable and cozy cottage

We found this cabin to be cozy, clean, and comfortable! It's in a nice woodsy area in a great location. There are other cabins around, but it feels secluded. We were able to walk to the village/lake (about 20 min walk), so that was nice. The house has all that we needed. The extra touches were notable and it was so nice to be able to take our little dog. The kitchen had everything we needed and the bathtub/shower were great! The outdoor space was nice to sit and relax in. The only recommendation I have is for the owners to invest in new pillows. Otherwise it was great!

A fairytale adventure!

Besides the cabin being adorable and cozy, I especially appreciated how the place was so thoughtfully organized. Host Lydia places cute framed labels and instructions around the house, such as one next to the fireplace thermostat, so you know exactly how to use what you need when you need it. Though my favorite part has to be when we arrived. We came at night when it was already dark. As we descended the steps from the driveway to the cabin, old-fashioned lamp posts flickered to life, lighting our path. Of course, these are just lights with motion-sensors, but the ambience made it feel like the lamps were enchanted to welcome us. Truly magical!
