"This place is a dump.They should not even be on Expedia. 40 dollars a night is too much to pay for that crap try 10 dollars. Towels were dirty, room smelled like mildew. Roaches were crawling over everything. Only time I saw staff was when they checked me into this hell hole. I wished my money was refundable cause I deserved it back. Only reason I stayed because I couldn't get refunded. But I was miserable as long as I was there."

"We had an incredible stay at this lake house and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The home was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. The lake views were absolutely beautiful, especially in the mornings and at sunset.The property was well-maintained, and there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and enjoy themselves. We loved spending time on the water, relaxing on the dock, and making memories with family. The location was peaceful yet convenient to nearby attractions and restaurants.The host was friendly, responsive, and made the entire process easy from booking through check-out. We truly felt at home and are already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend this lake house to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway!"

"We enjoyed our stay very much! The house was clean. Everything we could need was ready for us! Beds were very comfortable. One recliner on the couch didn’t want to go down, but we managed. spent most of our time at the dock.. fishing was as good on dock as was in our boat! Kids loved swimming off dock. Quiet neighborhood … we just wish there had been water on the dock… pipes ran there but no water… we survived.. all the pros took over any petty cons.. we will be back!!!!"

"Beautiful views! The house was cozy and comfortable. We love coming to Lake Blackshear and this house with the private boat ramp and dock was just perfect for us. We have a 20ft pontoon boat, it was tight fit in the ramp but we had no issue’s whatsoever. The host was very friendly and quick to respond. We had a great time!"

The home was spotless — easily one of the cleanest VRBOs we’ve stayed in — and it was perfectly stocked with all the essentials we needed for a comfortable visit.The house itself was incredibly cozy and welcoming, with comfortable beds that made it easy for all 5 of our guests to relax and feel right at home. The check-in process was simple and stress-free, and the host’s communication was outstanding from beginning to end. They were responsive, helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed.The outdoor space was truly the highlight for us. The pool was fantastic, and the back porch and outdoor kitchen created the perfect setup for relaxing evenings, meals together, and enjoying the lake atmosphere. It felt like a private retreat!We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained Lake Blackshear getaway."
