"We appreciated the easy parking and check-in of this property. Our room was spacious and clean, although our door didn't latch properly and we didn't know it had been left open until we returned from an event at 10 p.m. that evening. The Wi-Fi also appeared to be down, which was unfortunate as it was $9.95 per day to use. Restaurant on-site was high-quality and hotel staff were all incredibly friendly."

"The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The room, however needs a complete redo. Way outdated and mismatched carpet, wallpaper, drapes, the beds had a dust ruffle that looked like it just came out of the package from Temu. It was way outdated and wrinkled. I haven't seen a dust ruffle like that in at least 25 years. The granite on the bath vanity had been severely damaged, likely from using the wrong cleaning products. The buffet breakfast was in a room that was dirty. The containers for the silverware had debris in the bottoms.The bread items were stale. The milk was in a 1 gallon and half gallon containers directly from a grocery store that was touched by all who used it. It was unsanitary."

"Wish there was a hotel-sponsored breakfast; that's pretty much the expectation nowadays. From this and other stays, I regard Sonesta O'Hare as a very fine property and a good dollar value. However, it does need to improve the design of its airport shuttle service."

"Really didn’t care for the sink being separate from the bathroom and it was very small. Also if you’re looking for food close by you won’t have much luck. I wish they would upgrade their restaurant. "

"Very close to the Airport. If you attend an event at the Allstate Arena it is the perfect place, you can park at the hotel and it is an easy walk next door. Good breakfast, quiet even though airplanes fly right over. I would recommend."

"breakfast was fresh and good. Parking was spacious and not secure, but experienced no strangers. Room clean. But, maid failed to check if the safe was unlocked and empty. I found it locked, called maintenance, they unlocked it, then started to depart. I found the previous occupant left a purse and I turned it over to mainenance. To use the laundry, one must signup to a strange app that requires a $10 deposit for a $4 clothes wash dry, or quarters. Front desk refused to exchange dollars for quarters. Unlike some IHG's like Brookfield WI, no evening cookies, no plastice utensils available 24/7, or ability to use credit card for clothes Wash/Dry. "
