"This property exceeded our expectations. Everything was immaculate and we felt at home the moment we stepped onto the property. Gillian was easy to talk with and reponded quickly; she cares about making her guests feel welcome. There are so many great activities to do on this property and found many great things to do within the area: Hope for Wildlife, Halifax, surfing, trails, and parks."

"It was set up well. Host closed us out a day early by mistake, but fixed the problem quickly. Loved the location and welcoming treats. House is very well stocked. Thank you!"

"The beds were for children only and not suitable for adults. There was no outside furniture to sit on or to eat. There were no curtains for privacy, no cleaning materials for dishes or spills. No coffee maker or dishes etc. The outside had not seen a lawn mower once this year. This was listed as a vrbo but is actually an arnb as the owner lives above the rental with access to the unit. Very disappointed with this listing.....this was NOT a vacation rental but more like an empty apartment without any conveniences. Wouldn't recommend or stay there again."

"We had a lovely stay with our family of 9. The house was clean and well stocked with everything that we would need. Spacious bedrooms with all the comforts of home. Beautiful property - we tried fishing and the kids enjoyed searching for shells on the shoreline. We also enjoyed the BBQ, fire table and arcade machine. The house is close to a grocery store, restaurants and other amenities. Gary (our host) was welcoming, kind, and helped us with any questions that we had!"

"This trip was to visit my long distance girlfriend for a week and this property was exactly what we needed. We are very thankful for Marvin not turning us away as our original Vrbo had been cancelled due to the owner selling the property. The cottage had everything we could’ve needed; we didn’t need to bring anything to cook or clean with, there was everything for doing laundry, plenty of space for the two of us, and the bed was comfortable. Would recommend to anyone looking for a small getaway!"

"This property was perfect for celebrating our 20th anniversary! We woke up to stunning sunrises and ended the evenings with beautiful stars. It was all about walks on the beach, daily hot tub sittings and the massage chair. The owners were responsive to our questions both leading up to our visit and during…we would definitely feel blessed to stay again!"
