"After a 3 day stay in Sebring, Florida - I can say the staff was amazing. They were polite and greeted you anytime they saw you and offered assistance every time. The building and rooms were very clean and attended to daily. I never saw anyone standing around. They were cleaning or restocking food or drinks. I have to say it ’s one of the most pleasant stays I’ve had short term."

"This beautiful property takes us back to a more gentile time when aesthetics, good and polite service, cleanliness, safety, and comfort were on the minds of the hotel owners. The personnel were fantastic; they were friendly, professional, and helpful. The rooms are spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. Every detail is thought through to provide a tropical decor that speaks of old Florida. The “traditional” key is a nice detail; no digitally controlled key that might not work. The breakfast ,included in the price, was brought to the room exactly at the time requested. Very nice choices of breakfast foods and beverages. The pool is beautiful and surrounded by flowers. I highly recommend this hotel. Go ahead and spend d time there, you will get a taste of how hospitality used to be when quality and comfort mattered."

"The property is maintained with attention to detail from every aspect of a historical hotel. We liked the personalized welcome card and the homemade soap and loofah. The location is fantastic and the pub below added to our stay. My wife had a bad knee and not having the elevator was about the only negative, however I’m certain it will be ready next time we visit. Great job and meeting Joey was like a family member making sure our stay was pleasant."

"Great location on Lake Jackson! House was large and very clean. Lots of space for large families to gather. House was stocked with supplies and cooking. Updated kitchen. Kids enjoyed trampoline float, paddle board and sandy area by lake's edge. Enjoyable week and close to Sebring downtown and shopping. Item to consider if outside amenities are important, listing was not accurate as to all amenities offered such as kayaks and working paddle boat even though both were advertised in pictures of listing. Some other items not in great working condition such as sliding glass doors, washing machine, video games. Host was responding and apologizing, even indicated the non working paddle boat was not theirs and must have washed ashore. Notified after check in that kayaks were damaged at some point in past and removed. Outside area such as dock and screen door could use some attention."

"Amazing house with incredible large screen porch overlooking the beach and lake. Tons of out door and indoor seating. Nice fire pit. Great for children too. Lots of beach toys, life Jackets etc. I would highly recommend."

"Must stay at Sebring Garden retreat was very relaxing. Our host Carol was incredibly accommodating and the private entry made it easy to come and go without disturbing anyone. The rooms were spotless and the air-conditioning temperature was perfect throughout our stay I give Sebring garden retreat five stars and highly recommended to anyone visiting the area."
